Ok, so I know what I am having is severe gas pains, but I am walking, and walking, and sipping and sipping, and nothing seems to be happening.  I know this a topic that has been touched on before, but I am pleading for any suggestions.

I'm not looking for medical advise, just suggestions that some people may have tried that worked for them.  Thanks

Just keep on doing what you are doing and it will work its way out....one way or the other.  I know, not much help....but it WILL go away, I promise!

Vicki is right it will pass....I know not much help but I remember years ago when I had my gallbladder out, the nurses had me lay on my left side....do not know why,but it worked and helped relieve some of the gas. I know it is painful and I am sorry you have to go through this. Hope everything else is okay. Bounce

Thank you.  The Gas Gods were smiling at me ........finally.  Feel a little better.  Now if I could just sleep for more than an hour at a time.  oh boy, do I sound like a complainer huh?  sorry

Nah you are not a complainer....it is just hard to sleep after you have had surgery. I do not know why, but it is. Hey I am the queen of not sleeping more than a few hours at a time....so I do hear you Linda! Trust me your situation will get better!!! Now go  Fart Bounce ROTFL

GOod morning sweetie
I so feel for you but like the others said - it will pass (no pun intended) in time....just keep up the walking and sipping for sure.....hang in there my friend.....it gets better and better each day - soon you will be months out from surgery and will be giving the advice to newbies yourself....

See you soon.
