Today is better day. My back is not so sore. But Then I didn't sleep much last night, so maybe that is why.
I am off today, and yet, I woke up early and took the snotty pup for a walk and then come home and maybe coffee. Now that is what I plan on doing for the next few hours. Yap drink my coffee and nothing more.
OK Time for me get my second cup.

Hi Janine and the whole Cali Crew, HAPPY THURSDAY!
Go**** feels like forever since I posted. I"ve been working crazy 60+ hour weeks...SO no time for OH,the gym or a 'normal' life as I know it to be. Things are dying down a bit, so will be getting those things back on track.
Haven't really had a weight change in a month..so still tittering in the low 170's; but still losing inches cause my pants are all to big...
Next Saturday 9/20, I'll be running in my first 5K. I haven't been diligent in my workout routine since I took on more responsibility at work 3 weeks ago, but I"m still gonna do the race if I have to walk it all the way. CAn't wait to tell you alll how it was.
My birthday is on Tuesday the 16th, so looking forward to that too (going to see Gladys Knight,...YAYYYYY). Anyway,......
YOu all take care and have a blessed rest of the week.
Do a quick check-in...I received a total of 16 shots yesterday in my back and I am hurting BIG time. They say that I can feel like this from 2-3 days or weeks and even then there is no guarantee that it will help my situation. So, it is a waiting game.
Couldn't sleep for nothing last night due to the pain, so I am going to try to get some rest before I have to take my boy to school.
Hope everyone has a great day and remembers......

I had a nice birthday yesterday. I had many greetings and visitors. In the evening my nieces, sister, and roommate came over and made me dinner.......buffalo chicken salad....it was so yummy! then a few friends came over later, and my 2nd cousin and his wife who I thought had gone to Oregon came by to see me.....he and his two brothers and their wives are probably the most caring people of our family. They are always there when you need them, and even when you don't...you can always count on them.
I slept on the couch for the first time last night. I just am getting very tired of the recliner. So, at 3 am this morning, I took my surplus of pillows and made this big ol bed of padding, foot resters, etc, and I laid on my side for about an hour, then my back, and I tell you, it was nice! I cannot wait to be in my bed. My roommate can wait though, she loves my bed, and is enjoying the comfort of it....

I have my home health nurse coming today to re-pack the wounds, etc. She is going to be checking that one wound that looks suspicous......I am hoping for good news.
That's it for me.......off to eat breakfast!
Love U Guys!

Janine -your mural looks great. I love the pink ribbon. It looks like it is blowing in the wind.
Cali-nothing going on with me. Got a run in this morning and a bike ride last night. I need to call 24 hour fitness to straighten out my membership. Oh, I just sent off the information card to train with ALPA for the L.A. Marathon. I will go to the information meeting on Sept. 26th.

The mural looks awesome! It's going to be kick-a$$.
I started “Walk The Pounds Away 2 miles” with Leslie Sansone. It was a fun way to walk and work out arms. I’m feeling better pouch-wise. Nausea seems to be gone. I was able to each soft foods again yesterday. Yippeeeeeeeeeeee! I broke my very slow weight loss over the last 2 weeks. Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Everyone have a good day.
Hugs,

The Mystery Box is on its way out the door...
I don't remember when it started, but it's currently a little more than half-way through the list. This may help you gauge when it gets back to you. I think it's great that you'll then keep it going... and a themed one is a good idea!
I may start a second one if there's enough interest.
Your mosiac is beautiful. And, what a great idea with the pink ribbon - anything to increase awareness and honor those who fought/fight this disease.
I use every opportunity. So peeps... 7-year (as of October ) survivor here - found during my first mammo at 40... don't put off getting those mammograms, clinical exams by your doc, or monthly self exams (the hands that feel them the most, know them the best)... breast cancer is survivorable if caught early!

My puppies were so totally glad to see mommy home. Roxy hopped up on my lap and I thankfully defllected her off my tummy. The other two gently crawled up on my lap. That's 275# of dog on my lap! They were sooooo glad to see mommy.
Jayden's prizes for winning the Calendar contest arrived while I was in the hospital. They are sitting here awaiting his arrival to open his mail. We have this rule here that you don't open anyone else's mail without permission. I don't open Joe's and he doesn't open mine and the bills go in onme pile.
Im off to pick my first flavor of Isopure protein to drink. Then shower and pick a dog to walk. Think it'll be the old less energetic one (like me)
