Good Morning all

Wow - it must have been a Shopping Saturday!  I went out and bout new undies at Victoria Secret (size medium !) and 2 pair of capri's and 2 pair of shorts.  All size 10!  I tried on some pebble holders (used to be boulder holders but since the girls have shrunk down to nothing - they're pebbles) but I didn't like the way they fit.  Made me realize I need to get the girls lifted and re-inflated soon!  That was minorly depressing.

The only thing I need to do today is go get the oil changed in The Beast (my Toyota Sequoia) and call Rhonda and plan a trip.  I still need to book airline tickets but they're $139 from San Francisco.  Need to verify if my son is still going to go with me.

I did get an e-mail on Friday that pissed me off   The property management people who we booked a house for over the 4th of July so me and my HS girlfriends could all stay together and visit cancelled our reservation.  Seems he's pissed off at the State of California and is closing his business and moving out of state.  So...........I had to go find another house.  Found a pretty one too!   http://www.vrbo.com/225636  We're all booked, deposit paid and the girls are all given their balances owed.  So, we're set again with having a reunion vacation house.  Who cares if I have to sleep in the top bunk of a bunk bed............I'm tiny enough to do it now!  Ha!  Now, that's a good feeling

Ran into a friend at Target yesterday that I haven't seen in a while and she did not recognize me until I said something!  Kept gushing about how tiny I was! Oh, My.  I love that feeling.

Off to take my vitamins and make my protein smoothie.  Finally find a good recipie that is yummy and good on calories and even better on protein.  Almost 30 grams!

That house is Breathtaking!  I saved it to my favorites for future vacation times.  I am so exited I get to spend 5 days alone with my hubby at the end of next month!  We are actually going to be where you are going to be the weekend before you!  lol  Go and have a great day.  Enjoy and spoil yourself.

Had a nice evening with the family to celebrate my b-day and hubby's gift to me was a note saying he is re-setting a new diamond into my wedding set (lost the diamond years ago) and it would be ready by the end of next week!  Had a nice dinner on top of it too!  Hope you all have a restful Sunday. Rhonda I hope you recover from Miss Lu's evil hike.  Jean, woot for Victoria's Secret!!  I love being able to buy their things.  Have fun today too!!

Good Morning All! 

It's so fun to read about all of the shopping!  I took some jeans back to Old Navy yesterday & exchanged them for size 12!  One of these days I intend to get lower, but It's so wonderful to buy at regular stores & not necessarily have to try everything on.

I finally got a job & my first day is Monday!  It doesn't pay very much at all, but it's a JOB and watch out-I intend to get promotions & raises to make it right!!  I'll be working at the new Pottery Barn in Temecula.  They have redone the mall & made it an inside/outside mall.  The stores will all open the last weekend of the month & they have a lot of hoopla planned.  Besides the Pottery barn, there will be a Williams-Sonoma, Sephora, Yardhouse, & PF Changs.  There are more stores, but I won't be able to see them before tomorrow.  I've never done retail of this type so I am thrilled that I really get to learn it from the ground up.  And the best news???  40% discount!!  Not that I can afford it yet, but when I can, watch out!  After I've been made a regular employee I can also get 40% at Williams-Sonoma & the Pottery barn Outlet in Lake Elsinore.  So if any of you are in the area wine-tasting or shopping, please come by & we can tell each other how great we look!

The last couple of months have been very difficult & I know that I'm not done yet, but reading everyone else's uplifting stories has helped lift me out of my doldrums.  Thank you one & all!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!  That is great that you are working again!  With the times as tough as they are these days and the competition for job, it is no small feat!  Have fun!!  Retailcan be lots of fun, especially at a speciality store like Pottery Barn.

I hope you are window shopping for some clothes for me.  I need them for this cowboy event!  Hope you find some cute things in those windows, and girl a size 10???  I won't want to walk next to you, I can't have my a$$ near yours side by side~

As for me today, cleaning the house some like I do everyday.  Then I want to go out and shampoo my carpets in my car but it's damn cold outside, what the hell?  Other than that, nothing else, been to church and am going to enjoy my day.

Congrats on the victoria serects shopping and fitting spree....LOL!! I still am to scared to enter that store, I am not sure if it is that I still think I can't fit in there stuff or that I can fit, but my boobis have gotten to small...not what I wanted....LOL!!!

As for James and us we went to church this morning with Abbey. Today was the grand opening of the childrens building so she was super excited. Then she went to a friends house and James and I went shopping for food for this week. Can I just say I love my hubby he really does go shopping with me and loves it.....:) Now we are off to play a softball game and then to a friends house for dinner.

Jean- congrats on shopping in Vickie Secrets for the first time for undies.  That is a big girl's dream come true.

Monica- so glad that you haven't received a pink slip yet (lets hope and pray that you don't in the future).  Happy to hear you are back in school.  That is what I need to do.

Well, folks it is official.... I have re-registered for the Pasadena Half Marathon.  I am crazy especially since I have not ran since October.
