Confession:  I totally blew it last night.

I went to a free event at the Hilton last night. There was a ton of free food. I had tempura shrimp, a pot sticker, a few crackers with cheese, a bite-sized dessert, a few sips of wine, what else....oh a strawberry dipped in chocolate (which sort of sent me into the dumping zone, so I stopped)

Anyhow, I'm now at the low end of my 5-pound range.

Oh, and I won a free two-night stay in San Diego...so it was all worth it in my opinion.

So after all the b*tching and moaning I've been doing the past 4 days... it all seems worth it and it really wasn't so bad. Still no more movement on the scale but I'll take the 6lbs that came off anyday. And I feel full again. That's the main thing I was trying to do. Retrain myself and my baby tummy. Now it's all about the choices.

If anything... this is a reminder that like Kirsten said, it will always be a battle. Makes us more mindful of the things we know we should and shouldn't be stuffing our faces and pouches with.

Here's to working our tool!!!!
