I am home from the hospital

I want to say thank you to my wonderful Angel Chris. She has gone above and beyond in my opinion. Her Angel duties didn't stop when I came home from my RNY. When I started not being able to keep anything down including water I became very sick, very fast. I called the Drs office and they said I had a blockage somewhere and I would probably need surgery. I started crying as I had just been released a week earlier to the day. So I called Chris and told her and she met us at the ER. She stayed with me and even took care of my son. When we found out that they were going to admit me and do surgery she jumped to take my son home. When they left I was so sad, sad because I felt like maybe I had done something wrong. I later found out it was nothing I did. I had a lot of scar tissue from previous surgeries that had pretty much clamped down on my bowel tract. He said my RNY was pretty much the last straw for my intestines. I am glad it is all over now and I am alive thanks to everyones prayers and well wishes. Thank you everyone.

Glad to hear your home finally. Sorry that you had trouble and it ended up with another surgery. But the main thing is that your ok now. Yes Chris has been one awesome angel that's for sure. I'm happy that she was able to go beyond the call of angel duty for you. Take care and have a speedy recovery.

I'm SOOOOO glad you are home and doing better!  You've been through a lot . . . but not it's all uphill (which is a good thing).  Just keep moving ... sipping . . .and put earplugs in if your son bugs you because he is on spring break for 2 weeks!  Poor puppy!

Hugs to you
Chris

Welcome back, girlfriend!  I know that you were scared out of your mind.  You and the kids have been in my prayers.  Hopefully, if I my sitter is available, I will see you at the lunch this Saturday and I can give you a hug in person.
