1st Time on OH Since 4/8/09 Revision Surgery

Just wanted to check in and say I have not fallen off the face of the earth since my 4/8/09 revision RNY surgery.  According to the doctor everything went extraordinarily well.  Had my first post op appt with him on Friday and he is very pleased with my progress.  I have some fluid leaking from my incision site, but that is about the only negative thus far.  I will say though that I ordered a medical recliner chair and that is the only reason I have recovered as speedily as I have. 

Now I have a little bit of head and physical hunger coming back too.  Just need to start getting my protein in. 

Glad to hear you are home and doing well.  I have thought about you often and can't wait for you to heal so we can have coffee.

33 days til the LA Marathon.  I am excited and nervous.  We are running 26 miles this weekend.  I am glad you are doing well.  I will call you this week.

*BIG HUGS* I'm glad you're doing better! The leaking sounds like serous fluid leaking, but Dr C will know for sure (if you haven't heard back from him email him and let me know if you need his email addy). The important thing is you're healing up and progressing. Remember to sip, walk, rest, repeat!
