Woohooooo!!! I can't believe it's been one year already. It's been a wild ride for sure. I am 95 pounds down. Out of 11 medications prior to surgery, I am now down to two. Altho my diabetes is not in full remission, I am only on one medication out of four to control my blood sugar, and that one I may be tapering off of soon. The other medication is for my thyroid and that I will take for the rest of my life. I have had no reall complications after surgery. My blood count did get really low after surgery, but I am not out of the anemic stage. And of couse everyone knows about the broken ankle six weeks after surgery. Typical newbie mistake; dehydration and very low protein. I won't make that mistake again. I would probably be closer to my goal weight, if not for the fact that I spent 13.5 weeks in a wheelchair, but I am happy with my progress so far. I am happier with myself and way more healthy than I have been in years. I even had the confidence to enter an artist friend's Pin-Up contest. I didn't win, but out of 23 girls that entered, I had more votes than 13 of them. THAT in itself made me feel great! lol I am looking foreward to the next year to see what life has in store for me.

I want to thank everyone on the board that have been so supportive. If not for you, I wouldn't have been as successful as I have been. Thank you! XOXOXO

Congratulations Katt!  You are another example of how this tool can change our lives...for the better!  You also prove that in spite of the lemons life throws at us, we can just make lemonade (Sf of course! LOL) and throw it back in Life's face ^_^  keep up the great job...and can't wait to see what the next year brings you!
