Happy Thursday Everyone!!!

Good Morning All!  Yesterday was a good day after all.  After I got off work, I had a personal maintenance type day.  Massage and chiropracter (thank God!) got my nails done and then went out to Justin and Tika's and we all shot our bows at the targets they have set up.  Dead eye strikes again!

We brought the trailer home last night and tonight I clean and stock.  I have new flannel sheets for the bed, new pillows and a few new items for the kitchen.  New spice rack, strainer and storage containers.

Having lunch today with a friend I haven't seen in a while.  Other than that, kinda quiet. 

Hope everyone does good today and Janine, rest and take it easy.  Good luck with surgery tomorrow and we'll be praying for you.

good morning janine and cali peeps,
i'm doing ok today i have to go see the laywer and do some paperwork.. i'm still staying at my mom's house me and my bf are trying to work things out but he doesn't want me back in the house yet... so i'm a bit lonely.. i have a great family support system going on though.. you really see who's important to you when your having troubles in your life.. i've started losing wieght again so that's a bonus..well time to wake up my kid to get ready for school.. oh yesterday i went to a support group and it was so cool.... well see ya tomarrow..

Wonderful shout out Ms. Janine, you are the BEST!  Start off my morning with a smile and I haven't even had coffee yet!

Please don't worry about tomorrow, we're all here praying and thinging good thoughts for you and with your fighting spirit and wit, you'll be having the whole place laughing I'm sure.

Getting so excited about Ron's graduation and party and Hawaii I can hardly stand it!

Tonight is dress rehearsal and then I am off to SFO to pick up my step mom and bring her over for the weekend.  Concert tomorrow night, can't wait.

On the job front, I got a call from one of my professional acquanitences who had to call me about this job he just talked to someone about.  Turns out it is the same job with that same school district.  He said he was going to call the guy back and tell him I'm the one!  LOL  I am feeling good about things and not starting to worry.... yet.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day.  It's a beauty here in the East Bay.

I know I haven't been around much...spotty at best but I'm here in spirit. I hope all comes out okay on the surgery and that you will be there for graduation too. They might not be totally worried that you won't be there for their graduation. They might be worried about YOU and that's nice.

Kids are good, bad, great, awful...they run the gambit.

My life right now sucks but I don't really wanna talk about it. Hate it. Hate alot of stuff. But it will get better. It has to.

Janine...you are just the best around at shout outs.  And thank you for the very sweet comments regarding my new OH pic...gotta give thanks to Barb for getting it to post...I couldn't get the sizing to work and my Angel, as usual, came to the rescue LOL

Yesterday I finally upped my walking..got to 4X around the office block..that makes 2.5 miles at lunch and then another 3/4mi at home after work with the dogs....Lon made the comment, 'dang..you wouldn't have done any of that a year ago' LOL  A year ago??  How about 6 months ago?? ^_^

Today is more work on the books, nothing exciting.  Am just thankful tomorrow is Friday...this weekend is 'free'...no committments, obligations or 'have-to's'....and the weather should be perfect for a scooter ride up into the foothills (just hope Lon is well enough..this dang cold he has won't go away!).

Janine, I just know you will do well tomorrow..and I will sorely miss your great posts while you are absent from here; Please return soon!!

To everyone else....you are all special and I look forward to seeing your postings everyday...maybe this place has become my cross-addiction?? LOL  Be good to yourselves, do something nice for YOU...and then give back to someone else...that is how LOVE becomes contagious

I love your shout outs Janine and you will be missed around here.  Get well and take all the time you can to heal and rest.  Take care friend.

I am hoping to hear back from Dr. Lee's office (GI specialist at UCI) with a date for my stent to be placed.  I know Gloria said there will be some discomfort after the procedure, but at this point the ulcers are so painful, I don't think it will matter much more.  Hopefully once the stricture is fixed the ulcers will heal.  Thank you all for the support and I will keep you updated once I receive my date.

I was thrilled to hear you were immediately approved for the stent and the insurance didn't give you the run-around.  Now I'm just keeping my fingers croxxed (and toes!) that the doc can get you scheduled quickly...you have had to deal with the stricture just too darn long! Thinking of you!
