Good Tuesday Morning Cali

Sunray...Nancy, What old man??? all the work that gets done around here and there is a lot is done me me and the 16 year old next door when he is available...he does a fantastic job. We only have an acre ans half but it is a lot of work for one person...especial with he chickens and the garden and the building of the room and of course the general up keep of the old house. I have been divorced 30 years and Mom's man (the one that left her this house pass away8 years ago). So as you can see it is all up to me. At least until Mom recovers from shoulder surgery ...and even then she isn't a lot of help cause she is getting up there in years.

Hey Joy ^_^  Actually I meant MY old man LOL  In his previous life (meaning before me!), Lon was a self employed contractor...did all kinds of wonderful things around his house.  He retired a year before we got together; but I thought he retired only from his 'professional' life. HA!  I have to make him 'honey-do' lists and then wait until he gets around to them LOL  I'm not complaining really; if he wasn't here, they would NEVER get done since I'm all thumbs when it comes to fixing things ^_^  I think it's awesome you've got the kid next door to help...must be a real responsible young man for 16...most wouldn't give the time of day, let alone work! Good for you!! ^_^

I am so excited its finally Tuesday!!..Woooohoooo..Look out Wednesday!

Well today brings me at work with a another day filled of lots of joy..lol.."yeah right". I hope today goes smoothly. Yesterday, I was a ***** from h_ll! Oh, well luckily the girls at work love me! I am excited my best friend is wanting to have WLS, too. So today she asked me if I would go with her to her Dr.'s informational seminar for her support. Ofcourse I immediately said yes! But I did tell her that I would be there for support, but all her decisions need to be made by her alone. I just done want to be a influence and then she regrets what decision she made. So gang, wish her good luck!

I work for Yougurt and Chinese food and unusual restraunts.  I will come and help you organize for day, but you have to take me to that Park Ave place it sounds awesome.  So call me and let's set a date!  lol.  I love to organize I am a sicko I know it!  But gotta love me!  lol

I meant to continue blabbing, but hit the submit button to early...yeah, it is one of those days!

Just wanted to let you all know that I like the openess of everyone on the Cali board, and the ability to post whatever is on our mind and share with each other.  From all the posts that I have read on OH/Cali board, I have to say you are all there for each other and just overall great bunch of people.  I also know that the people on the Cali Board are great because I have met a few LB Coffeehouse people and have built a relationship with them in such a short time.  I know, sounds mushy huh?  Well, I think I am on a roller coaster of emotions due to work and all the changes, which means you guys are just going to have to suffer along with me.  LOL

I really do enjoy reading all the posts whether they are just to say hello, give suggestions and/or support.  This is a friendly environment and that probably has to do with us all being able to relate to one another relative to our past and present selves.

I hope you are all having a fabulous day on this great Tuesday morning. I am off today YEAH. Work actually wasn't bad, but I got out late both days. Oh well double time. I work again on Thursday, then off for 4.

I have a full schedule this week. I am going to a Southern Home Living party tomorrow. I am just going for the social part of it. I am broke, and payday isn't till Friday. Then I have my sewing class tomorrow night, its a beginners class. We are making aprons for this project(its for my dad for father's day). I made a tote bag for my mum, for mother's day. It is really fun, I wanted to do something different, and meet new people.
Then I have 2 parties to go to. My friend graduates on Friday, and then on Sunday her son is being Baptized. I am really looking forward to that. I haven't seen the baby in a few months. Our schedules have been busy, so we haven't been able together.
Anyway, I guess I should get off the chesterfield and get cleaning the house. YUCK. I can't believe how much of a mess I can make, and I haven't really been home except to sleep the last few days. Oh well.

Happy Tuesday morning all!!! Hope it is a great one for all of you!!

Just wanted to do a quick type by as work is crazy busy right now!!! You hear about the construction slow down, well we're not feelin' it. Girls out on vacation, equipment problems never quiet around here.

Today I have to drive out to Brea to get my little one's glasses repaired cracked them right down the center. You'd have thought someone killed him. Poor little guy's eyes are so bad he can't see without them and never goes without the glasses so to him it was the end of the world. Then counseling tongiht. Thank goodness there's no baseball tonight.
