No.  If they need it, they will request it through official channels.

Darlene,

I think it would depend on what the job is.  If it is a job that requires a DOJ clearance, then yes by all means bring it with you.  If it's not a government job and is private industry that does not deal with the government then why would you need to show it.  You could always include the information at the bottom of your resume, stating that you have a DOJ clearance or in the explanation for the job that required the DOJ clearance, state there that you received the DOJ clearance and a copy of the paperwork is available for review.  Then if whomever you are interviewing with wants proof, you can then supply a copy.

Good luck,
Stephanie

If they require it and even if you take it with you, they will still have to verify it through DOJ or Homeland.. So, I would take it just to have it.. but again, they will still verify it through whichever channels they use.

From my understanding any company that you would work for would run this on their own.  The reason being is if they don't they will not get reports on you if you do do something wrong.  Only the holder of a report would get notified.  At least this is my understanding.  I have had DOJ's run on me like a million times.  If I even pee wrong someone knows about it.  What kind of job are you interviewing for?  Give us the scoop.

this  one is at the local hospital here in Medical  Staffing. This dept does all the certifiying stuff for the docs to work there....

I have my DOJ now for my citizenship papers, I just sent my prints off to FBI for that clearance, then I get to file my papers for citzenship and will have dual citizenship.
