Good Tuesday Morning!

Good Blustery Morning Cali and welcome to Tuesday edition of what the hell am I doing up! LOL

Okay it is windy here in the desert and I hear SoCal is going to get some rain again....and if you all don't know...we have zero rainfall for the desert and it looks like we are only to get the windy part of the storm. Triple digits are finally going to rear their ugly heads in a couple of days....so the days leading up to summer and a few days into summer have been glorious here in the desert...almost downright cold at times....twice in a week, I wore jeans at night due to it being too cold! Okay that is not going to happen for a while again!

Yesterday...grumble, grumble....our ho****er heater leaked into the closet that it backs up on. OMG what a mess. Thankfully it only ruin some of my photographs that were mounted but not framed. Even more thankfully it did not ruin a watercolor done by LP Latimer in 1894 (yes you read right) that I had put in the closet because I had updated the room for Jeff's niece when she lived here and never put it back up. Whew cuz that painting is worth a lot of money! The room smells icky poo poo right now as their was a rug in the closet. I am hoping to rip it out, but Jeff has a fan on it and did dry vac what he could out of it. The room is a mess right now with stuff strun everywhere!!

Miss MoMo....how was your birthday yesterday? Did all the bratty people at your work (I mean that teasing) help you celebrate?

Barb I cannot believe that you would take time out of your great vacation to post on the boards....okay we are glad you did, but does ya have to rub it in??? Okay lets all go out and get pinapples and pretend we are in Hawaii...come girls lets get our hula skirts out? Boys play those uckalei's (hell I do not how to spell them!) and oh yeah lets really get Hawaiian and hum the Hawaii 5-0 theme song....book it Dano!!! Heheheeheh. Glad you and Ron are having fun and yes we do want pics!

Yeah Sue I was really surprised to see you posting so early...you usually are a bit later. How is your aches and pains doing...your husband...and of course....how is the darlin Miss Sammi??? Hope yesterday was not horrible with you getting an early start.

Karen I hope you know that we are going to be thinking about you today and sending all the positive juju and everything else your way....I hope the procedure you are going to have today goes smoothly and the results are what you really want to hear. Believe me I am praying girl!

Chris you really had a good wow moment at the fair eh? I just love those kinds of things....they had to be really shocked to see you if they did not recognize you! YAY Good on your daughter getting out on a trip...I am sure well deserved. Hopefully your son will hear something this week about his upcoming job!

Rhonda as always you sure have some busy ass days. I do not know how you do it!!! I think it is great that you are going to the gym at Curves. I think it is a great introduction to the hardcore gyms. Circuit training is a good cardio workout!!!! I am glad Michele is able to go with you too...it is great having a buddy along there with you! How was your coffee fun last night? How are things going with your mom...is she doing okay after the spill. Hold on to your bonnet up there today and get the power roll of velcro out!

Dawn it sounds like you had a pretty busy weekend in spite of the reaction to the banana. Ironic I never eat them because of the high carbs in them...wonder why they gave you hell? I know it sucks having to wear glasses. I have worn them since I was 2 and a half. I went for a period of time after lasix not wearing them, but now...OMG I wear contacts again....strong ones too and I have to wear readers over them to see on the computer and when I do fine detail work....super sucks!!!

Monica I surely hope that the docs can fix you up....you really have had a rough go of things...and happy belated 4th! Also sorry for your loss...that had to be tough!

Terry I hope your Monday was met with a smile and you had a good day yesterday!

Delores it sounds like you are having fun and yay on you getting some beef down!!! I know cold water still does not bother me, but there are times I can feel it go all the way down to my Y area...it really feels weird. I think you are doing marvelous girl!

Hey Lori very cool about getting another child off into the real world!!! How exciting! Now the party is this weekend? Or you already had it? I am cornfused!!! LOL

Jan it is great to see you posting and you look friggin awesome!!! It has been so long since I have seen you around here and really glad that you have decided to show your pretty face!!! Hey Eileen did you make it back to the gym thing? I sure hope so. I have finally began to exercise a bit...yesterday I made it to a whopping 20 minutes on the cross trainer....I know not much, but heck I only had surgery almost 6 weeks ago...I am hoping to add more time to it today. Keep going and keep yourself in a routine....you will reap the benefits gf!

Kim S....so great about you graduating from nursing school. I know it was tough and congrats on your 1st year anniversary! You surely look awesome!

Just want to say good morning and ask everyone to please check to make sure your smoke detectors in your home work and have fresh batteries in them.  I had a fire in my apartment tonight, and am currently camped out at a friends house.  I awoke at around 1:00 a.m. to the sound of my smoke detectors going off.  The fire started in Nate's bedroom (he was not home).  His bedroom floor lamp had fallen over onto a pile of clean laundry i had put in his room for him to put away tomorrow.  When I opened the door there were flames approx 3 ft. high.  The fire department said that I am very lucky and that the smoke detector saved my life tonight.  Had it not been functioning, within about 5 minutes I would've been trapped in my bedroom....the only way out would've been a 3 story jump to the parking lot below.  It was a very scary situation.  I am ok, with the exception of some cuts on my hand and arm from breaking the glass on the fire extinguisher box.  I wasn't thinking and broke the glass with my fist.  I don't know the exact extent of the damage yet.....I guess I will find out in the morning when I go home.

Sorry to start the day out so gloomy......but everyone PLEASE check to make sure you check the batteries in your smoke detectors.....they truely do save lives.

I'm going to go and TRY and get a bit of sleep now.

OMG girl I am so glad to read this cause that means you are ok =)  stuff can be replaced.  I will check mine tonight =)

Kirsten, I am so sorry about the fire, thank God you're ok and that Nate wasn't there. Pretty scary stuff. Get your hand checked out to make sure it's ok. Things can be replaced. You cannot. We check our smoke detectors every month. As property managers, we know how invaluable a service they provide. I wish there was some way that I could help. Sending love and big hugs. XOXOXO

Ya I was awake, but refused to get out of bed until 3:00, lol. So as usual I am ready way before I have to be. Maybe someday I will become a sleeper, HA!!! At least I know I am not alone.
I am doing ok, some discomfort still under the arms and pissy about the dog ears. All in all I will survive. Just trying to get use to not wearing a binder or supporter for the first time in forever.
Well, Zucchini bread is all cut up. I am ready to flirt and hopefully it will be a good day.

i'm doing pretty good.. i haven't moved all my stuff over to the house yet.. so i have alot to do real soon.. sorry i've been MIA lately computer keeps going on the fritz... i've  been going through some morning for my aunt lena died on the 4th... i feel real sad that's she's gonna but she had alzhiemer and haven't seen her in 7yrs,,, and she was 82yrs old.. she lived a long life..
anyway i'm doing pretty good otherwise... always cleaning the house it never stops.. well that's it for me ... i hope everyone has a great day..

Nothing else new here . . . the job is getting worse . . . so not fun . . . and to make matters worse, the receptionist calledin sick when there were already 3 others out for the day . . . so the 4 of us left had to sit out there for 2.25 hours and have our hands tied for getting stuff done - ughhhh.  December will be 20 years at this place . . . and my options are nonexistent for anything really so it's put up or shut up . . . oh well

Good Morning Calif.....

I want to tell you all about the nice walk I went on yesterday.

Fresser and I went to the wild life park. The weather has been GREAT!!! So off we went. Mind you, I stayed with in the doctor order on my ankle. OK to walk, no running!  We were about a mile into the walk when the range came along and asked how things where going? He remembers me from when I was running there all the time. He ask why I had Fresser on leash and yet let the other dog run around? HUH? This is my only dog with me today. So he points over to this black or dark brown little thing following behind us. Not mine, I told him. Are you sure? DUH!! yah! So he take out his binoculars and looks. Fresser and I where being stocked by a all black fox pup. Per the Scott, the ranger, he is about 4 months old, and should have a sister/brother with him, but it was no where around, So he says he better go and find the mother and make sure all is ok. To me, it looked like a pom puppy. He followed us the whole walk, but when we turned off the trail to head back to the car, he went the other way, back to the river bottom. I don't think Fresser even knew it was there. She was to busy thinking about DINNER!!!.

OK time to jump in the shower and get my day started.

Good morning Janine and Cali Crew!

Looks like rain today here again.  It was freezing last night when the group met for Coffee at Starbucks.  I had to put a jacket on and hide the fact that I could fit into a normal Large Shirt!  lol.  And I so wanted to show it off!  Well you all know Nascar Kim.  Please keep her husbnad brother in prayer, he had a heart attack yesterday and he is only 38.  Kim if you see this I will come get you to take you to your car, just call on my cell.  Well today is another busy one for me the gym, the a walk and then I have been nominated as the parent leadership something or another at  for the school so I have to attend the school board meeting some time today.  Screwed up my daughter doctor appointment yesterday as I forgot to bring her paperwork with me.    So got to do that next week.  I gotta tell you gang I am pooped. It is a good pooped but I am pooped.  My mother is draining and she is going to be here till Saturday.  I was supposed to go and help a freind with her garage on Saturday, but I don't think I am going to be able to do it as I gotta drive my mother home and I think by Saturday I will be really wanting to!  I went to pick up something from freecycle yesterday that I wanted and when the woman opened her garage I so wanted to say let me come and fix this mess for you!  lol.  But it took all my power not to.   It is so funny as my garage is a mess, yet I want to clean someone elses.  WEll I am off to the gym before it gets late, got to pick up the girls and get going.  You all have a nice day and enjoy.  Becareful those of you in the inland iempire and hi desert, we are supposed to get lots of lighting with our storm today.

Good Tuesday Morning Everyone!!

What a day yesterday was for me.  My day at work started with no internet service.  Now mind you, I need the internet to do my job.  No ifs, ands or buts about it.  Nothing that we did made it work.  So I lost 3 hours of work waiting for my boss to get in here to get it fixed.  Since my boss was in early, I was never able to get on to post or even check anything which sucked.  Oh well...life goes on.

Things are better today.  Internet is up and running smoothly which is good.  I just wish I was home instead.  I am finally done with kids birthdays until next year!!!  That one week in june kills me with 3 out of 4 born 4 days apart (plus several years...lol)  The only birthday I have left is my own in about 3 weeks which I am hoping to just sneak by. 

Nothing planned today.  Just work, home and kids.  Just the norm for me.  Have a great day everyone!!!
