Thanks once again for the great shout out....you are the bomb for sure....so sorry about the water heater leak...that just sucks.  I know first hand how awful water can be in side ... years ago when Ilived in the apt...a ho****er pipe broke under my living room floor.  It was the day after thanksgiving and I woke up early, stepped out of bed into water...OMG the entire apt was flooded.  And the worst part is that the apt was on a slab and the water leaked up through a crack in the slab under my living room.  Thank GOD for renters insurance.  I ended up having to live in a pet friendly hotel for almost 3 weeks while all the damage was repaired.  My renters ins did cover my loss of belongings and also the cost of the hotels (if it hadn't you can bet I would have made the owner pay).  That was one hard way to get new carpet and  paint)..anyway hope it drys up soon and I am so glad that the painting was saved.

Kirsten - OMG girl - how friggin scary.  I am so glad you are ok.  I check my smoke alarms regularly and I am lucky that mine are also tied in to electricity.  Keep us posted and take care....let us know if you need anything.

Lu - how fun your walk sounded...and a baby fox..how cool...but are they dangerous?  Take care and how is DD?

Janine - the dating thing is going GREAT with a capitol G....he is the best.  I did make about $200 at the flea market - didn't sell much of the craft items but did unload alot of other stuff....and as a heads up to my LB coffee buddies...I have 2 big bags of clothes coming to coffee the end of the month...lots of tops, shoes, ladies unmentionables and some WLS books....

Ok well its time for me to go read the paper and have my morning protein then get a few chores done....tonight is Karaoke night....maybe some night I will get the nerve to actually sing....but I doubt it.  I just love watching and listening to the others...especially Dave as he has a great voice...

I am getting ready to post some new pictures I took yesterday of my "kids" and also of my garden and the baby birds that have grown up in my hanging plant...

nothing new to report here, but I just wanted to check in and say that everyone seems to be doing great.  Janine, ho****er heaters suck at times, and luckily it didn't totally flood your closet/house.  Well, gotta get back to the daily grind, and I hope everyone has a great day!!

Good Morning All!  Thanks for a fantastic shout-out Janine! 

My birthday was good.  My daughter showed up with flowers for me here at work.  1.  My daughter lives 3 hours away and 2....... she's a college student so limited money!  How cool is that?  They're absolutely georgeous roses that are kinda of a peachy orange color and some lilly type things.  Beautiful.

I took an hour off and went and got my nails done as I had lost 2 yesterday and there was no way I was going camping missing 2 nails!  We all went out to dinner and had a wonderful mexican meal.  I went home and made 4 huge lasagne for our camping trip.   Folded 4 loads of laundry and finally made it to bed at 11:30.  I'm tired today.

I have to make a Costco run tonight to get stuff for our camping trip,.

Work beckons.

I'm here and posting and just wanted to say THANK you as always for your morning post.  I actually came to work REALLY pissy cause of somethings my room mate said to me this morning.  Now I don't normally read this thread well I do occassionally but I believe it was MEANT for me to read it today.  After reading about the fire from Kirsten's and then the friend of a friend who had a heart attack it really just REMINDED me that I am blessed beyond words and so thankful to be living a healthier happier life and being on these forums helps me tremendously so well that's me in a nut shell.

NOW onto what's going on in my life.  I am aligning myself mentally and spiritually with what I want and deserve in life, which is EVERYTHING lol!!  I met a couple guys, I'm getting out the house more, I'm working out...all is so right with my world!

This post reminded me of ALL that and more!!

Janine, although you have already asked the question, I must ask too.  What the hell are you doing up at 2:32 am!  Sorry to hear about the leak, but happy not more was touched by the water.
I am doing pretty good.  Still very busy with fiscal year end crap.  I will be soooooooo happy when it is over.

The Party is this Saturday, can't wait to see all our friends. It's a nice excuse to get together with friends and family and have a good time.

Thank God for the smoke detector and your son not being home. Glad to hear all went well. I remember hearing once to change your batteries everytime the time changes and then you know when they were changed and they are still good. What a scary thing to wake up to.. take care of your cuts and boo-boos.

Last night I was talking to Little Michele and she mentioned a taco soup for the 5-day pouch test. Does anyone know where I can get the recipe. I need to do something after the party to jump start this losing thing again. I have been at the same weight for a few months now.

I also want to go to LB Coffee this month and have a ton of clothes to bring.. sizes 16 - 18 - 20 bottoms and tops. Anyone interested please come...

Good Morning Cali Crew,

Yes, Yes, Yes, I know I've been quiet over the past week or so. Have had a lot of things going on that I'm trying to work through. Family issues... fun huh? Well my Father has decided to crawl back into my life after only being around for maybe a total of 7 years out of my entire almost 31 I've been around. Long story goes with this one, but all in all it's taking its toll and I'm just trying to work through the mental repercussions as best as I can.

I am just getting ready to hit the shower and go submit an app/resume for a receptionist position in Rancho. Great shout out Janine!!! I don't know how you remember all that you do. I need to work on that. Well, I am happy the sun is finally shining here in Rancho Cucamonga. It's not bad up by my house in the mountains but down here at work the sun hasn't peeked through in over a week. I miss my sunshine. Today brings a whole lot of the same for me. Workin' all day, then a counseling appointment after work and a baseball game this evening. Although I have a get together planned with our Miss Rhonda tonight which I am so looking forward to. I wasn't able to make last night's HD coffee so, this will be great. I am really hoping to make LB coffee this month also as I have yet to go and it sounds like such a great time with a great group of people.

Kristin - I am so sorry to hear of the fire, how scary. I am just so glad the smoke detector was in good working order and no one was seriously injured. What a reminder to count our blessings!!! I hope the damage is minimal.

Well we are doing good here. the boys are great. Body is recovering well from his circumcision revision. Warrens last day of Kindergarten is Friday. OMG I cant believe how fast that went by! my babys going to be in 1st grade I just cant believe it! well other than that not much new here.
