I did my Couch to 5K walk/run this morning week 2 day 2 and I feel alive (or tired take your pick)

B:  Coffee
S:  2 eggs; Low Sugar Oatmeal
S:  Coffee with 1/2 Lindora protein bar
L:  1 cup Beef Stew
S:  Maybe MORE coffee with other 1/2 of bar =)
D:  ??

Water:  7 cups
Exercise:  2.25 miles on the treadmill
Vitamins:  Mutl; 1500mg Cal Cit w/D & Mag; Hair Vits

Not sure what will be Good Eats for dinner but I'm surely craving shrimp right now. Vallarta had them for $2.99 a pound and I have been standing shucking and peeling them for about two hours over the last several days..I'm slow.

Next: shrimp ceviche..i'm thinkin.

B: oatmeal, tvp, soy milk, apple sauce,

Snack: 1 mexican cookie, 1 oz mozzarella cheese, 1 pc roasted turkey breast deli meat

Snack: 1 medium apple.

L: 3 oz tilapia and 1/2 cup cole slaw..

Snack: 1 nectarine, 1 protein coffee drink (of my own mixing!)

Dinner: probably steak or something like that. dh usually surprises me.

Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

Hi All,

early morning....the usual coffee thing
B:  minestrone protein soup....I've been wanting something warm in the mornings lately
S:  pumpkin seeds, shells and all
L:  1/2C cottage cheese with SF jello
S:  dry apple cinnamon cereal
S#2:  cappucino protein drink
D:  not sure yet...Dawn's ceviche sounds really good...and I already have the ingredients to make it

W:  trying
V:  on track
E:  last day of hula hoop class  Waaa!!

I stopped by WalMart on my way home last night to make a copy of a photograph to send to Chris S. for her hat when she walks the 3 Day Walk.  I strayed from my menu I posted for yesterday's dinner and ended up getting the $3 chicken sandwich meal-deal from McDonalds at WalMart.  I ate about 2/3 of the sandwich and half of the fries.....and before I even got home a carb-coma was coming on strong.  I laid on the couch for an hour or so drifting in and out.  Ugh!!  I know better, but even at 3+ years out I do silly things sometimes.

On a positive note:  what I didn't eat I threw in the trash can!!!

I'm all messed up today.  I fasted and drank ounces of water, showed up to have blood taken only to find they didn't have al the tubes they needed. That's the reason I faxed the order to them early!

 

OK, so on the plus side, I've gotten in all my water today! LOL  100 oz

B nothing, I was fasting

L broccoli quiche

S Protein drink

D filet migon (a treat for fasting) ;-)

No vitamins because I have an appointment with another lab to have the blood drawn tomorrow.

Exercise, not much, my knee is killing me.  I walked around the hospital room while waiting for my blood to be drawn.

Fasting again in the morning, oh joy. lol

 

Tomorrow is another day.
