8.62 Miles! Thanks Ms. Shell

Just did an 8.62 mile walk after reading Ms. Shell's post.  Thank you for the inspiration.

Couple of observations about the Santa Ana River Trail where I just walked.
1) There is no river there, not even water.  There is, however, plenty of signs warning that you will be cited if you go into the water.
2) Part of the river bed has been turned into a very nice, if long, golf course. Hate to see what happened if there was a flood.
3) The walkway itself is nicely paved with shaded areas under the overpasses as you walk.  There was also a park, with shade, table, and bathrooms along the path.
4) I am gonna do it again!

Good for you!  I just got knocked out of my walk . . . well the majority of my walk . . . but I'm going anyway to do what I can!

Enjoy the experience!

We could learn a lot from crayons:
some are sharp, some are pretty,
some are dull, some have weird names,
& all are different colors....but they

ALL exist very nicely in the same box.

I will be at coffee next weekend.  Looking forward to dumping more clothes... I mean recycling...  Stuck in a plateau this last month, hoping the walk would cure me.   Only problem is, now my left knee hurts and I can barely walk LOL It'll get better soon I am sure.
