Yes I am still around

Hello all,

Yes I am still around.  I had been so busy doing so many things I was never on the computer, but life had to slow down and it came to a stop abruptly.

I have always had back problems.  About a month ago I went to the back ortho and talked about doing the surgery to rid myself of the spinal stenosis I had.  About 2 weeks ago, out of the blue my entire right side of my lower body, hip, right leg down to my ankle, experienced severe pain.  After about 4 days of extreme pain, even percocet didn't work, I got in to see the doctor last Monday.  He took an xray, my MRI was last Tues, I have a disc that decided that it didn't want to play along with the others any longer and decided it wanted to move out of alignment.  Anyway, I could go into detail, I have, as the doctor said, "one of the worst lower backs he has seen in a long time".  So the gest if it all, is, I am confinded to my bedroom, sitting and sleeping in my recliner, awaiting another appt with the doc on Tues, go over the MRI and decide what course of surgery they are going to do.  I can't walk down the stairs, can't drive, well you get the idea.

Just here to let you know about what is going on, I will be here more often, have nothing to do.  Doug has supplied me with a laptop, YEAH!  I have the greatest hubby in the world by they way.  I am not here to complain but just to ask for as many prayers as I can get as I go through what will be months and months of rehab

Yes I do need to get well, there is a wine trip in our future!

For sure, many prayers and positive thoughts being sent your way.  Im sure it is so awful the pain you are going through.   Hoping they find a way to help you quickly.

Dear Diane,

There is nothing more painful than back problems.  And it can certainly stop you dead in your tracks.  Just know we miss you very much and will be thinking good thoughts for you and sending you hugs and hugs that you will be feeling better soon.

Oh Diane I can only imagine what pain you must be in.  I am sorry you are having to go through all this stuff  I am only up the hill from you, so if you need to come and help you out next week, just let me know.  I'll be there.  you have my number just give me a call.
