Its Whacky Weigh In Wednesday

Good Morning All! 

I'm in week 3 post-surgery so count me down for a loss of 6 lbs!  My clothes are already becoming a serious issue.  Good thing for belts!  It's the shorts that don't have belt loops that will have to be retired soon.  Walked in a pair like that earlier in the week and had to pull them up a million times!

I'm back to work part time this week, and next week I will be back full time.  I worry about my routine when I start back to work full time...have to make sure I get my exercise in (so far just walking).

I swear one day I will get a scale so I can post.  Maybe I will buy on for myself for my birthday this weekend...although I would rather get my nails done or  a new purse...lol. 

Nothing new going on.  Just sitting at work being bored.  It is real slow and I would love to get out of here but I need the money.  Just doing church tonight and hopefully the extreme tour tomorrow night.  My kids really want to go to this and because it is free, the price is right.

Morning Janine and Cali!

I'm finally down 2 lbs . . . getting back to my lowest is so much more work now that I basically can't do anything for exercise excep****er aerobics . . . that is depressing . . .but if it makes my hips last longer . . . oh well.  I'm still doing the first stage of the 3 Day each day . . .

My Myla bug is in the hospital .  . . long story short without all the TMI . . . they think she might have a bowel blockage . . . waiting for the GI guy to get there this morning . . . and we're hoping for no surgery for her . . . poor little puppy!

Meanwhile, I have to go to LAX to pick up my daughter today . . . she is coming home from South Dakota . . . she's had 10 days of quiet . . . so she can come get crazy again in our house.  My son has his physical on Thursday for the job in Monterey . . . so lots of good things could happen soon (assuming no surgery for Myla bug).

I love listening to all your stories. They give me such hope and inspiration to become who I really am inside.  I'm still afraid of so many things and of life in general. I can be such a fraidy cat, probably from being a big girl all my life. I can tell already that you guys will give me strength to really "be me".

Good Morning Janine and Cali Friends,

Put me down for 5 lbs lost this week!  Whoo hoo!

Well, my job with Mt. Diablo Unified School District officially ended yesterday, for the 1st time in my life I am unemployed!  I even filed for unemployment for the 1st time too yesterday.  I am saying prayers about the job with San Francisco Unified though, as the interview yesterday went very well, thanks so much for all the good thoughts and prayers, juju and the like, it boosted my confidence tremendously.  When I was interviewing candidates back in the day, I was very thorough and some say I was even a tough interviewer (at least that's what I've been told) so I found yesterday's experience pretty easy.  I was very well prepared with samples of my programs and they didn't want to see anything even though I offered.  It was a panel of 4 people including the hiring manager, and the questions were standard ones.  I always asked very thought provoking questions when I sat on the other side of the desk and so I always hope I will get those when I'm being interviewed.  I felt positive and now just waiting.  The hiring manager said he should make a decision by the end of the week, which at the school district is tomorrow since they have Friday off for July 4th.  I'll keep you "posted" (excuse the pun)!

Thanks for noticing!  I celebrated with Ron, I was doing the happy dance!  It is cool, and I think you'll hear me in Sacramento when I break that 200 lb and am down into the 190's!

Good Morning Janine and Cali Crew

It been a while since I've check in with the WWW mainly because I had no good news to report. Like most of us that are 2+ post op!! I've been struggling to maintain my weight loss. Which is why I started the 5-DPT Monday. Thanks everyone that's doing it with me this week!! I know its been hard but totally worth all the suffering!! I'm down 10lbs since Monday. I know!! I know!! Its because I'm a man!!! I hope to keep the weight loss going!!!
