Ginger, thanks so much for sharing.  I am almost 2 years out, had wls on August 10, 2007, and the "fat girl" definitely tries to come out and it is difficult to keep her at bay.  However, I too have an understanding and supportive husband and that is very important, especially for us wls people. Thanks again.

It sure is good C'ING LESS OF ME!

We could learn a lot from crayons:
some are sharp, some are pretty,
some are dull, some have weird names,
& all are different colors....but they

ALL exist very nicely in the same box.

You know insecurity does not go away without alot of hard work and time and effort.  She can be there whether you are skinny or fat, tall or short, dumb or smart, rich or poor.  No matter what your cir****tance we all just have to remember we are so WORTH it...whatever it is =)

You are so right...Most of the time I have her beat...it has been a long time since she has shown her face...but every now and then she shows up....And I have to tell myself....YOU ARE BETTER THAN THIS!

It has taken many years...but I do love "Me"!  And I think we all need to love ourselves and put as much into ourselves as we do everyone else.

Take care,

Ginger

Thank you for posting that. I printed it out and I am going to reread it several times, even thought I will probably never make goal weight, I need to be happy where I am at and quit being so upset with me.  Then I am going to show it to my husband, because he doesn't understand why I still think I am 400 lbs.  I would like him to realize, I am not alone.

Again, thanks so much, you are beautiful!

You are so welcome and thank you for the kind words.  It makes me happy when I can help others with their journey!

One more thing....don't be negative about getting to goal weight...tell yourself, I WILL GET TO GOAL WEIGHT!!!
I CAN DO THIS!!!!!

Diane, if I can you can!!!!! Love yourself, and say kind things to yourself.......you DESERVE IT!!!!!

Much love,

Ginger
