Good Thursday Morning
Good Morning all,
It's good to see so many old people back on the boards talking. I knew you were all out there, these boards are important to so many new people and even the old ones. The posting that Brian posted about Nuts is good for all to read, good info about them.
There are several people that have been approve for surgery, and I wish you the best. It will be one of the best things of your life, but please keep in mind, that having surgery is only a tool, and it works if you work it. It will be your lifelong friend. While in Temucla recently, my hubby Doug and I ran across some people. We started chatting, and come to find out, both of the men of the couples we had met had WLS over 10 years ago. The both still were thin and so thankful. They are living proof to me how good this tool can be, and a powerful one. our lives will change, and for the better. So remember to keep working it and it will work for you.
I don't remember who is having surgery today, but I know it is someone. Anyone who can remember, I am old, please post it this morning. I wish you luck, you are heading for a great new beginning. I applaud you on your decision to do something so life changing.
I am not usually up this early, oh wait, yes I am, I don't very often have good nights, been a life long pattern, so if no one has posted, I will try to get here without disturbing the sleeping bear in my room.
Have a great day all, make it a good RNY day too. Eat, drink tha****er, especially good right now because it is so hot, and watch those carbs.
Tomorrow is Friday, the end of the week for most, and for those shift people, your weekend will be here too.

Well we had a good week for weight loss . . . we are down another 34.2 lbs! Weigh to go! I have GOT to get my head back where it belongs and join in on the losing!!!
Good luck today Jackie . . . we'll be waiting for you here on this bench . . . you will do great - walk and sip, walk and sip . . . and I think it's your birthday too? Have a GREAT one!
Went to see Harry last night . . . it was a bit slow at times I thought . . . but overall pretty good . . . I had my "Cliff Notes" daughter with me to 1) fill in the blanks because I never remember what happens in the earlier movies, and 2) fill in the blanks because I haven't read the books - and even if I had, refer to #1. She was happy with it . . . she said the last book is going to be made into two movies because there is just too much stuff to try to push into one movie. It was fun . . . and she was happy . . . so that was cool.

Today is going to be another beautiful one, but a hot one! Thank goodness I love the heat. Jackie is having surgery today, Chris mentioned that. She was in good spirits last evening when we PM'd and I believe Karen is staying on top of everythign to keep us al infomred. You go Jackie. I can't tell you how exited I am to see that people that are coming back here on the boards. People with so much experience and positive things to share with others. I am just so exited. I know there are more out there, and I am hoping over the next days and weeks we shall see more. Sometimes we just need a fresh start and I thank Diane for giving that to us. Everyone have a great day today and enjoy yourselfs, and remember to do something nice just for you today.

Good morning Cali,
Well the DH and Vanessa made it to petalums
aand swam all afternoon while I was working!! The weather is great for the pool. I did not get to get in so I did my time on the treadmill. Work is going well, my staff seem to be getting the job done. The leave for Oakland tonight's for an early flight home (they are both from seattle area).
At least this week I am not alone with DH and Vanessa here. I don't mind so much being alone as going to eat alone now. I feel funny just ordering a cup of soup or appetizer when it is just me! Oh well I am sure I will get over it.

Good Morning All! I need caffeine! Ugh. Joe does not keep normal hours and so he rented a good movie off pay per view last night and even tho I had planned to be in bed and asleep by 10 it didn't happen. It was so good.......... Seven Pounds with Will Smith. Oh, it was so good. But, I didn't get to bed until 11:30
it's going to be 108 here today. Yikes! I get off at 1:30 today tho to take Joe to the doctor to get his stapes out of his knee. Hopefully that'll help some of the tight feeling. I WILL get a nap in today!
Taking the kid to the Kids Fishing day on Saturday at the Mt. Shasta Fish hatchery where they let the kids fish in the brood ponds. They have such a blast! Then on Sunday Jayden's Mom is coming over and we're playing at the lake on the boat. Saves me a 3 hour drive and trying to cram so much into one day. Plus, she gets to play with the kid on the lake and then take the kid home with her. I come up with some good plans sometimes!
Stay hydrated everyone and take your vitamins!
