2009 Losers Campout was a blast!

Once again the campout was a blast.  And yes Virginia, we will do it again next year.  We are aiming for the beach but that all depends on whether we can get reservations.  It is very hard to do cause the campgrounds book up 6 months in advance and most aren't able to plan that far ahead ....so we will see how that pans out. 

All made the trip home safely without incident!

Those of you who couldn't make it, you were missed and hope you can enjoy this experience in the coming trips.

We were execting blazing heat but were smiled upon.  It was warm not hot and cooled down at night  ok it was  REALLY COLD at night.  But that was a great blessing.  Food , friends, conversation, exciting (LOL) neighbors and very very friendly people at the beach.  Wish I was still there... Thank you all who came you made my trip AWESOME.

Thats awesome!!!  Im glad you all had so much fun!  I want to go next year :) whoo hoo.. maybe a summer wearing shorts again.. can't wait :)

Yes next year for camping BUT please dont put off making the most of your new life.  Start that ASAP....

Sue, it was great spending time with you and everyone else at Silverwood. I really needed the getaway. I want to thank Gary and Celest for loaning me the tent. I really appreciate it. It was a time of good friends, good food and good times. It was great to meet Javi and Linda. I have blogged about my experience. You can find it on my profile. And remember: What happens at Silverwood Lake, stays at Silverwood Lake! lol Damn squirrels!!!    

This campout  was the best one yet!  Such good friends and lots of bonding time. Thanks to everyone for making an old lady feel welcomed!  I can't wait for next year's trip.  I would love for it to be at the beach.

This past weekend was an absolute blast.  I had a chance to meet 8 people, who are just totally awesome.  I walked down to the marina, took a dip in the lake, and even tried to fish.....but with zero success.  The food was awesome, the campfires were fun, but just being able to relax was the best part of it all.  Hopefully we can get a beach spot next year, so we can get  a few more people to come out; that would be great.  Well, to all that were there, thanks for a great time; and for those that wanted to come.....there's always next year.

Another year there i know it was a sign that i should come out and join you when my other plans had changed ,,, i really know how important you people are to me and my life changing every year   ,,, i'm also glad i called in sick to be there another day i sure wasnt ready to come home yet LOL 

I will not miss next year weather i came so unprepaired but Celest and Gary  you all helpped me out and provided for me ,, Thanks 

its always nice to meet new people and meet with the old ones too to catch up on life ,,,

and i'm glad we all made it home safe too ,,,
