Welcome to Wackey Weigh in WEDNESDAY
Good Morning Lu & Cali Friends,
Happy Hump Day!! You can out me down for a stayin the same. Hey, atleast I have not gained anymore. :) I am trying to stay positive! I guess, maintaining is one of the hardest parts of this surgery. I know what it takes to loose the rest of this weight and if I want to do it, I will have to put in the effort. Last night, I got home from work, ate dinner, & watched TV. That is why I am not down today. I should of ate dinner & gone for a walk or to the gym. I will not do a shoulda, coulda or woulda this week, since I know what I am supposed to do. I choose not to walk, so the end result is a no loss, so tonight when I get home, I will do some type of exercise. Hope everyone has a fabulous Wednesday!

Good Morning Lu and Cali Friends,
Great shout out this morning Lu! EU is Experience Unlimited and it's funded through the state of California and is a job networking club for professionals and college grads out of work. It's run by volunteers who are looking for work, and we train on networking, resume writing, interviewing skills, salary negotiations, how to use LinkedIn etc. Super great people there, who are in the same boat but can brush up on job search skills for free.
Yesterday was quite interesting and fun. My step mom Isla and I drove over to SF to drop off peaches to my step mom Lil. We decided to all have an early dinner and drove out to Daly City where I went to high school and had dinner at Westlake Joes. It's been there forever! Dinner was yum yum and then we took a drive. I drove through my old neighborhood and past my old house, Isla had never seen it. The I drove to my old high school... OMG. I was the 1st class to graduate from this beautiful indoor show place of a high school. I had heard they closed it due to declining enrollment and then later opened it up for adult school etc. OMG it was so sad, it was just neglected and this beautiful place that I had remembered, the one with the carpeted halls, indoor plants, beautiful wooden benches was just neglected! The front door was open, so I parked the car and left the ladies inside and took a walk through my old high school. It was so sad because I loved that place and it was a great place to go to high school and now sat there in disrepair. Oh well, I guess you can't go back again. It was surely a trip down memory lane though. If you've ever been to Daly City, you know that it's almost always foggy, and yesterday was no exception. I remember trying to watch(well in my case play in pep band at) football games in the fog, what a joke, you couldn't even see across the field! Oh, and now they've built condo's on my highschool football field! UGH! Another funny thing I noticed when walking though, a kid who had been our student body president was now President of the Board of Trustees for the District. OMG, do I feel old or what??? What a "long strange trip it's been" (ok, I dated myself with that line, did anybody my age catch it?)
So enough of living in the past, today is going to be wonderful and hope you all enjoy it.
Hugs and keep on truckin'! LOL

P.S. In my "trip" down memory lane, I forgot to post that I am down 2.5 lbs this week, whoo hoo!

Morning Lu and Cali gang ^_^
I am happy to report a 1.5lb loss this week...and I have officially made it into the 150's! Yeahhhh for me!! I seemed to have stalled (too many strawberries and peaches?) for the last 2 weeks, hovering at the 160-160.5 mark...psychie afraid to take the plunge to 159??? Broke the barrier on Sunday and was just praying that today would find me safely embedded and the 160's gone forever. I had set a goal for myself to be here before we went to Washington.. .call me vain, it's ok LOL For all you newbies! JOURNAL JOURNAL JOURNAL! It is amazing how easy it is to mess with your mind and get off track! Honesty and accountability have their rewards ^_^
Today will be a short day..maybe by 1-2 hours...hopeing to hit the road before 5pm when the freeways go nuts with people getting off work. Spent last nite loading the m/h with food, my clothes, bedding, and misc supplies. Lon has to load his stuff today and then when I get home, I'll throw in my computer, dog beds, some books to read, go thru the house 1 last time to make sure I didn't forget something. And then we are gone!! We'll stop in Weed tonight at an RV park we always use..and then reach Longview Washington Thursday afternoon. I am so excited to see my sister on Friday...and her fabulous 40' motorhome that they live in full time.
So that is my day in a nutshell ;-) Gotta get to doing payroll or we won't have money to travel...and we hate using credit cards for gas. Hope everyone has a great rest of the week and a fun-packed weekend. I'll try to post while we're gone...but know I'll be thinking of you and missing all of you!!

Hi Delores ^_^
Medford is a good half-way mark. We would normally make it to Ashland, Medford or Grants Pass but since we are leaving this evening, figure 4-5 hours of driving is far enough LOL My MIL says they had some rain yesterday but weekend is expected to be in mid 80's..really nice for the area.
Hopefully, we'll see you on the 22nd at Chili's?? Sorry to hear Rick hurt his back! With you at work and him 'slowed down', Vanessa is gonna have the run of the house LOL
Try to have a great weekend...and take care of that good looking hubby!

Good Morning Cali!!
Im down 3 lbs this week. I still had some trouble with some soft foods this week so I added more protein shakes back in. I know I haven't had enough fluids so my goal for this week is to make sure I get the full 64oz in each day.
I also found I can walk around the block now with this much weight loss which is so Awesome for me! used to be hard to walk to my car without pain so that is a successful thing for me so far.
Today Im off to a board meeting and then going to the nutrition class with Annette tonight :) yay!
Have a super day !!
hugs,
Jackie
