Hello from Atlanta!
Hi guys! I just wanted to tell you all thank you for your prayers, your encouragement and good thoughts! I got on the plane and commented to Tim about how small the seats looked, and they are, but I fit and the seat belt clicked on with an extra 6" or so to spare! I cried, I swear to God, I cried. Tim hugged me. Had an uneventful flight, whew. I decided there is something about hearing a seasoned voice coming from the ****pit, as opposed to some squeaky voice. LOL We had dinner at the original chick fi let or however you spell it....LOL Having a good time so far, but we haven't done much of anything...tomorrow is a busy day picking people up at the airport...Thanks God for my surgery...I wouldn't be here without it...love to you all...Kim
Hi Kim,
Congrats on a successful flight! I knew it would be good.
Atlanta is a neat city. There is a great place for dinner in the Buckhead neighborhood called Tu Tu Tango. They serve food in a tapas style, Perfect amount for gastric bypass people! Plus out of the blue people start dancing, like really good dancers. When I was there they had a fortune teller and a jewlery maker. The Martin Luther King Jr. center is amazing and the area around there has been stuck in time so you see some cool houses too. I would avoid the Coca Cola museum :-)
Have fun.
