OT: Tom's Farms

Yes, it's almost that time of year again. I will be contacting Tom's Farms this week to see about reserving a November date. It is a great time of togetherness for everyone. We get to meet new people and see 'old' friends. We also have a clothing exchange. I was in charge of the clothing exchange last year and the remainder of the clothes went to a women's shelter. I will be requesting for donations to help with the expenses. No amount is too small. PM me and I will send you my Paypal info. I will keep track of how much is donatedand by whom,  so there is no doubt as to how much was given and how much was used. I was thinking that the first saturday of November (November 7th) would be good. That's when we had it last year. Let me know your thoughts. And as always, everyone is welcome. pre-ops, post-ops, non-ops, family/friends/support partners.

Totally OT, but I just noticed that you are from Exeter. I grew up in Lindsay and graduated there :) I also lived in Exeter for some time right after high school, I love that little town. I was there just at the beginning of August, and I went to El Nuevo Mexicali, my favorite mexican restaurant of all time!  Just wanted to say "Hi" :) It's nice to see folks from little towns near where I grew up :)

It was a great time last year, and you can count me in as my entire family had a wonderful time.  I am sorry that you  are getting a bit of unwarranted negativity here from people that are not even interested in coming.  Everyone that I spoke to had a great time and really enjoyed the day. Lots of smiling faces and hugs to be had for all.  So what ever day it is let me know and we shall be there, just don't pick Thanksgiving week as that will not work  for me.
