Revision Surgery

All related to the stricture.  Dr Chin said that the ulcer and stricure kind of go hand and hand.  Not sure which caused what, but at any rate.  He basically has to disconnect the intestines from the pouch, make a new connection.  He is hoping to be able to do it laproscopically but may have to do an open procedure.

It saddens me to hear that, Linda.  I know you are not happy.  Well, I pray that the revision surgery works for you and you don't need to be cut on again.  I am pretty sure by now you are very fustrated.
Without struggle, there is no progress.

Linda,

I'm so sorry to hear this.  However, if revision will fix the health issues and keep you at a healthy weight, that is a good thing.

Keeping you in my thoughts.
