Don't worry about venting!  I did yesterday.  Sometimes we just need to vent and you know what it is o.k.  If someone doesn't like it they can just not read your post.  Hang in there Friday is almost here.  Good Luck!

Girl I hope you got the nicey nice email and shoved it up their collective BUTTS!!  Don't they know you have enough to stress about!!

This is what we are here for!  We need to be able to let go and that is what you did.  We are here.  You definitely have some stress on  your plate.  Although it was scary and extremely stressful, I am happy for you that the insurance situation was taken care of and quickly.  I am sending you lots of hugs and best wishes for you and your plastic surgery. Relax and keep us posted.

And I thought I was the only one that had these types of problems at work.  Just hope they don't call you at the hospital or during your recovery to ask a stupid question like "I lost my inbox".  Yeah, I get calls while on vacation, sick, hospitalized, etc...  Needless to say, during my RNY medical leave everything was all F'd up like big time.  Between the owner and the clerk they followed no orders I left like do not print computer checks, write manual checks.  HA, HA, HA  Took two weeks to fix their bull**** mistakes and I just can't seem to get caught up on regular day to day crap.

Anyhow, this is about you MONICA...BREATHE IN, BREATHE OUT, BREATHE IN, BREATHE OUT.  There, there now, do you feel a little better .  Are you familiar with the program "Hard Knocks".  There is a player on the Bengals team - Chad Johnson #85 going now by the name of Ocho Cinco.  Just use his line and tell everyone at the office as you leave tomorrow 'CHILD PLEASE".  Definition: adjective - FUCK YOU...    (sorry, I just could not resist).

Monica doll, there are only 8 hrs. in the work day and you can only do so much.  At the end of the day if you did not finish everything, leave it there.  If someone in the office needs it bad enough they will figure it out (I hope).  Hold your head up high and smile, girl smile cause when you get back to the office you are going to knock them dead.  You have already undergone quite a transformation and plastics is just going to enhance it even more.  You are a bright, beautiful young woman and you need to concentrate on YOU RIGHT NOW.

As for your mom and sis, my family is in New Mexico.  All I have here is my husband and 2 kids and trust me, I wish I was closer in miles to my family in New Mexico.  I see them only every 3-4 yrs.  If I don't call my mom in 2 weeks she freaks out.  My sisters & I e-mail all the time, but it's not the same as them being close to me to hug or be hugged when needed.  I nag my 24 year old son all the time, and my 19 yr. old daughter. 

Prayers and best wishes for you on your surgery and may you have a speedy recovery.  My offer still stands if I can help you out in any way.

First off, don't worry about them, they will figure it out for themselves. Just smile, nod & say "I'm right on top of that" then as soon as they have turned their back ..laugh! LOL

Second, there is NO FREAKIN way you are thirty seven! Holy Crap! I wanna look like you when I am thirty seven!!

Finally, Good Luck with your plastics! I wish nothing but a safe & happy recovery!

I once worked with a great HR woman who said to employees, "you need to put your big girl/boy pants on and do your job"  So that's what your boss and your subordinates need to do while you are out of the office.

Walk out the door tomorrow at the end of the day and leave the job there and concentrate on you!

Think of all those mean people in their underwear and just laugh, now don't throw up that is not good for you!  Just laugh.  You have to take care of you.  They will either sink or swim and most likely they will swim.  You can probably plan on coming back to a mess though, but just accept that and let it go.

As far as family goes, just hang in there.  People show they care in their own ways. 

I will keep you in my prayers, you go and have an uneventful surgery girl.  DOn't ever loose your postive and loving attitude.
