Good morning all,

Nothing really to report here other than I am so sore from my workout yesterday. Found some muscles that have not been used in a long time and I am so stiff....

Chris put me down for 3.5 pounds this week. I guess the walking and me getting up to over 100 grams of protein are really starting to work. Only 17 more pounds to lose before my 9 month post op check up........ I want to be under 300 pounds by then.

Good Morning Jean and Cali Crew!

I just wanted to stop in and  contribute to WWW, I have a ton of things to do today. I lost 3.3 lbs this week! Whoo-hoo!
The 24th is do-able for me, as I will be in Huntington Beach that weekend. I will try to make the SO CAL Coffee, but as that is the day, of my uncle's 50th birthday party and USC. It will be tight. I will try my best.
This Sunday brings my 5k for Childrens Hospital of Orange County at Disneyland. I am walking with Little Michele, her daughter, and granddaughter. My sister, her husband are also walking with my neice and great-neice. and quite a few friends from her work.  I am really looking forward to it.

Morning Jean and Cali gang....Happy Hump day! 

Today is my Friday as I have taken vacation days for tomorrow and Friday ^_^  I've checked the weather forecasts for Yosemite...70's all the way to Sunday...yipppeeee!  Lon is still trying to find reasons not to go....but it's a guy thing...this is MY trip and he's not in charge LOL  Drives him nuts...that's what happens when you have 2 people who are used to being in charge come together...him because he's a guy and they are 'suppose to' and me because I HAD to (ex hubby was a flake in that department). Most times I step back but it's now or never (atleast until next spring) to go to Yosemite...before the snow starts to fly ^_^  Of course, my excuse for going is to test out the new rig...but it is still in the shop to get the frig repaired...but I'll use the old m/h if I have to..nothing wrong with it..and it could be our 'farewell' journey before we finally sell it :-(  Besides, I'm tired of sitting home..it's time to go somewhere...anywhere.but in front of the TV LOL

Chris, you can put me down for 1.1lbs lost..Yippeeee!  Looks like I have literally moved off the stall...what  relief.  Probably all the extra walking I've been doing with dogs...they sure enjoy it LOL

Jean..Congrats on completing 13mi of LB run...I am sooo impressed with all of you!  You totally deserved to veg out yesterday...that was an awesome accomplishment ^_^

Diane....you and Doug are both in my prayers...you for continued healing and progress with the walking...Doug and the doctors...hopefully it is nothing more than just fatigue from working the fires and such. 

MoMo..thought about you all day yesterday...we almost broke a record set in 1962 with the amount of rain received.  Parts of Sacramento are still without power...Smud and PGE will be cutting up trees for days after the winds we had.  Hope you get some rest tonight!

Stephanie....your client is one of the reasons I got out of public accounting!  You are so fortunate to have a boss who sees the real picture...mine always took the clients' side...and then we had to bust our butts to cram the extra work in.  And I remember the days of clients bringing their stuff in to us in shoe boxes!  Oops...going on a tangent here...better stop LOL  Just know I empathize completely with you!  I know you will survive however...don't we always?  ;-)


Naomi....prayers coming your way on that shoulder...sounds really weird that you can't lift the arm :-(  And more prayers on the knee surgery at the end of the month. 

Delores...happy to hear you got my post regarding the weather; was afraid you would be too far on the road to check your computer.  Glad you made it home safely and that you had your brother for company...definitely makes the long drive easier when there is someone to talk with.

Michelle T....you haven't posted yet...but wanted to say "HI!"..you are so cheerful and postive in your post...I always enjoy seeiing what you are up to ^_^ 

Barb...Sure hope you survived the deluge we got yesterday and totally understand having to watch out for the other drivers.  Some of them are NUTS!!  And you are right...there is never enough for retirement..but I'm still taking it!! LOL  I had hoped to retire at 62 but after last fall and Wall Street mess...I may have to go the full time...to 66...boo hoo.

Well, the sun has broken thru for a while..almost blinding me after all the dark clouds from yesterday LOL  If I didn't mention you...it's only because I don't know what you are doing!!  Guess I should get to work...even if the brain has already gone into 'vacation' mode ;-)  Have a wonderful day Cali gang..you are all PRICELESS!!

Good Morning Cali Friends,

WOW! I have been gone for so long. I have had a very tough past couple of weeks & went into hiding. I think the stress affected the weight loss since I am down 5.5lbs. Which is nice to see, but I hope I can keep it off!

The LB coffee date is fine with me & I can't wait to see everyone!

I am loving this rain and cool weather in SoCal!! I had to borrow a jacket from my boyfriend this morning because I haven't gotten the one I ordered yet. He is about 6ft tall and weights 175 soaking wet. But the jacket fit me!! My puppys aren't sure about the rain. Neither one wanted to go do their business this morning. Poor things.

I had a good week this week-down 6.1 lbs. Part of it is because I have a problem tooth. I am taking antibiotics and pain killers. But I did watch my eating and I was on a stall for a couple weeks. I think my body caught up with my weight loss.

Nothing much going on with me.  I brought "Baby" to work with me.  "We" are going to Stitch n' ***** tonight in Culver City.  Pray that I find a parking space tonight.  LOL.

Now that I am not so sore I will be looking at all the paperwork we got at the LB Expo to find my next walk.  I'll keep you posted.

Thank you to everyone that wished me a Happy Birthday yesterday.  I had a great day.

As I've been packing, I've come across more and more clothes for both men and women that are just too big for us now.  I was whining to Harley yesterday that I so wish we could go to one more LB Coffee so I could give these all to someone who needs them, so the 24th would be awesome because we're moving on the 31st.

Those boots Jean are rockin'  I wore my brown ones on Monday.  Need to take the black suede to Vegas and trot them around there. 

Oh here is an update on my shoulder.  I have adhesive tendonitis in my shoulder.  There is a big calcium deposit near my rotator cuff.  I do not need surgery, yet.  But I do need aggressive physical therapy.  The doctor gave me a steroid injection with some local and boy...that's good stuff.  I can actually raise my arm again.
