OMG Deb, isn't their chili just the best. Ok question for you,  hot sauce or no Hot sauces.  Me I am a hot tamale and love the sauce.  And I thought I was the only one that loved their chili.

Barb- Thanks and I cant wait until our next lunch!

Rhonda-
So far I've kept it no sauce and no cheese or onions.  I don't want to mess up a good thing!
I'm not really cooking much yet but my 22 year old was coming out and asked if I could make chili and corn bread.....well, Wendy's is right next to KFC so I drove thru and got 10 large chili and then scooted over to KFC for a dozen cornbread! lol Fed the 7 of us for $30 or so.

I've been stopping in there every few days and buying 2 large chilis.   I can eat on that for a few days easily and its not fast food junk!  Im thrilled and its as good as I would make.  I have to learn to cook again because I have always cooked for 10 when I cook and now that our family is shrinking and kids are moving out and/or working or at school, dinners have changed drastically.

You are looking great.  You are melting before our very eyes!  I am going to have to try the Wendy's Chili.  I don't like hot sauce though.  I am a boring eater!  I do like the cheese.  Boy that corn bread sounds good too!  Of course I can't have that!

Today I am thankful for:

1.  The first Halloween in at least five years in which I did not eat one piece of Halloween candy.
2.  Ever since the 2nd day home from surgery I have had incredible amounts of energy.
3.  I am getting all my liquids and protein in without problems.
4.  My husband and I seem to be getting closer and closer through this process.
5.  The cooler weather which brings flannel sheets, blankets, quilts and cozy bed.
6.  My chubby, mink soft cat Buddy.
7.  That the other day while doing the dishes my secondary wedding rings fell off my finger - they used to be very, very tight.
8.  Last night I was able to put my seat belt on without the "chubby extender" on.

That is so great that your rings are sliding off. Mine are lose too.  When they are to big a I am going to put them away until I reach my goal because it is not good to keep getting them sized. I made it through without eating any candy either.  I even went to a party and only ate a little bite of Swiss cheese!  I have to agree with you on the relationship with my husband too.  I feel we have just gotten so much closer.  He fusses over me and makes sure I eat what I am supposed to.

I love Wendy's Chili too..always have, its the only processed or commercial chili I have ever found to be "authentic" tasting.  Unfortunately, my pouch rebels against it, so if I am feeling brave, I add the onions but it gets a splat of sour cream for my "pouch rejection protection"..lol
Happy Sunday...
