I am new here myself, this is my first CA board post!!  I had my surgery done in Ohio six years ago and relocated here and never even thought to look for a support group or state board!  I am not even sure how that slipped my mind!!

It seems like this is a very friendly place to be and best of luck with your surgery :)

The third day should be your discharge day, barring complications. You would not be able to pick your son up, but you would be there for the pictures. First b-day is only pictures, he won't understand or remember and you'll be there all the rest of the years. Best of luck whatever you decide.

I wasn't able to pick him up after c-section either but thankfully I have a great hubby (he's a stay at home daddy) so I know he'll be well taken care of!

We are planning to do the party the weekend before, so at least I'll be mobile at that point!

Welcome to the Cali board, we're so glad you've joined us and so glad we can share your journey with you.
