Good Morning California
Part of family life is growing in communication. Like it or not, we become a little family here on this website as we post about our lives, and become in various levels of relationships with one another.
We are each entitled to our own opinion, and to be able to express it. If we don't like someone's responses, or attitudes, we can block them, or we can address them openly or privately.
Relationships here are formed....blossom...deepen....but they can also wither and die... that is the nature of relationships.
We learn more about ourselves and about how we "do" relationship as we lose weight, become healthier emotionally, and interact. Sometimes we screw it all up in our haste to be "best friends" with someone we seem to like on the boards, and then, unfortunately, we find that we jumped in too soon. Then, feelings are hurt...comments are made...alliances might become formed... not so good...but, hopefully, we learn from these things.
Also, we all have our own "take" on things... what seems like "drama" to one person is just normal "venting" or "clearing the air" to another...
One thing I do appreciate about current things is that, as far as I know, people are OPENLY expressing their feelings, and not doing cowardly secret PM's to one another, as has happened in the past.
As far as the "good old days" go... um... if you miss what you perceive as being the "good old days", then... START SOMETHING UP! Why wait for someone else to do it? If you miss the last suppers, then put one together for some newbie(s)! Instead of bemoaning the fact that things have changed (is that necessarily bad??), then do something to make it be what you think it should be!
Jr. higher's have a lot of fun sometimes, by the way, and some of us were robbed of our jr. high crazy years by obesity and/or other traumatic factors in life.... so... if being crazy like a jr. higher works for someone, I say embrace it! As long as your mission isn't to hurt someone else.
And, as far as hurting goes, let's all admit that we do a lot of hurting without ever intending to do so, and let's realize others do the same thing... let's extend a lot of forgiveness and understanding around here...
ok... i guess that's all i have to say... for now!
Rhonda, i love your heart and your humor, and know you have no ill intent in what you've said... i pray that all the bugs get ironed out, if possible...
xoxo

thanks, momo..it was nice meeting you...
and, personally, i don't think there is anything wrong with small groups getting together because they enjoy seeing each other...i'm thinking and hoping that it's going on all over the boards, with people who have coffee together, go walking together, meet up for lunch, etc, etc.
hoping for a good day!
how's the puppy situation? do we have puppies?

Hot dayum...the ONLY reason I come on the CA forum was to find up what the h*ll SECC stood for cause I saw all my "friends" joining. Well I'll just say this the NAME says it all and some people would feel like those days where there is the "elite" group that would let everyone in.
For me I welcome MYSELF to everyones GROUP!! Haha and I belonged at 300 on the cheer squad and ran with the football players and did whatever I wanted to so I think it's wonderful that among the MANY on OH you have found and enjoy the company of the FEW whom you feel should join your SECC!!
But because I'm a big brat I MUST go out and make my OWN group and make it bigger and better then YOURS!!
And while Jesus had his disciples I don't think he used words like Elite which might make those not invited feel less then.
Ok so you all must know the ONLY reason I posted was because I really am THRILLED to actually know what SECC stands for cause I couldn't figure it out to save my life!!
See you all on Saturday!
