Nathalie.... i'm glad you are going to an ophthamologist this week...

I lost focused vision in my right eye 10 years ago... it's a kind of nearsighted-enduced macular degeneration....

i had a surgery on the retina to try to help, but it didn't.

so, now I see clearly out of my left eye only (right eye has no focused central vision at all...can't read, or even decipher the big "E" at the eye doc)...

it could happen at any time to my left eye, and i'd be essentially blind... i worry about this a lot! and totally understand your fear right now...

keep us posted on how things go w/the eye doc... hopefully, this was just a real bad migraine, and it will clear up and go away...

You are in my prayers, sweetheart. I know it is scary, not knowing what is going on. I have gone through this numerous times. You have all the prayers, thoughts, support and good ju-ju from everybody. I am going to give you a call. Please take care, rest your eyes and as liz said it would be a great idea to go to the ER, to get some answers now. Talk to you soon.

Thanks for rooting for me. I posted an update on a new post since I couldnt figure out how to post to everyone on here. I went to the doc and they said it was Optic Neuritis... basically inflammation of the Optic Nerve, but the new post says more... Well I am off to take a nap now.
