The easy part is done!!! Did you run Sunday?? You only have about 80 more days to train!!! No more excuses!!! Do you need a wake up call from me to get you up to run??

No, I did not run Sunday.  I know, I know.  No more excuses.  More than a wake-up call, I am going to need someone to run with me.

Without struggle, there is no progress.

You do NOT need someone to run with you......this is YOUR race.  I had to learn that and it was a hard lesson to learn.   Running by myself is no fun at all.....I hate it!!!!

I know it's my race.  I may not need someone to run with but it would make the time go by faster.  I'm just sayin'.

I feel what what she is saying but I really don't know if I could do 26.2 miles alone.  :-( But when you are out there running the marathon you will not be alone.  A friend of mine that I trained with last year said she was amazed at the kindness of the other runners she meet along the way as she dropped back from us and continued to run.  ;-)

I am not talking about on the day of the race, but during long runs while training.
Without struggle, there is no progress.
