Happy Last Thursday and Last Day of the Year!

Good morning Cali! 

Ahhhhh to sleep in!  NOT!  I always wonder why when I can sleep in I am wide awake and my lil man is sound alseep?  Can anyone explain that to me?

Well, it is the last day of the year and guess what I am going to be doing? Yep, you guessed it running.  Gotta get my last run in for the year and than it will be off to a NYE party with my lil man.  I am sad to say goodbye to 2009 as it was an amazing year of many accomplishments, big moves and reconnection with old friends and the blessings of some new ones.

What is on the agenda for NYE?  Please be safe and Happy New Years Cali!

I am currently at work but tonight I will be sleeping. As you guessed it I work tomorrow. But I dont mind. I work early so I dont miss much.

My own little man and my hubby are staying up late. My boy wants to try and make it to 12midnite, hes never made it before and he is going to try hard.

HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!!!!  I just can't wait to get off from work...ughhh...At least I'll be off by 1pm....

What are we doing?  We are going to Anna's aunt's house.  She's having a big party with tons of people, food, and beverages

I don't plan to get drunk because I want to get a good workout tomorrow morning....Woot woot....

Good Morning All

I completely understand the sleeping in part.  My kids who are 19 & 25 still sleep in and I am up.  WTF???

The most absolute best part of 2009 was having my surgery.  Of course as Lena stated above the re-connections with old friends and the blessing of some new ones.  Aside from that, 2009 was a horrible year with cutbacks, furloughs, wage cuts, etc., etc..  COME ON 2010!!!

2010 will bring me to getting back on track with walking as I have not done so in months.  Don't even try Kirsten & Lena, I am not interested in running, or walking a marathon, not my cup of tea.  You just keep on Javi, he will cave in eventually, LOL

2010 should also bring in a new employer as my company is in the final stages of selling and I have already met the new boss briefly.  It will also bring graduation for my son with his BS in Kinesieology (about damn time, he's been going to school for 7 years).

As for today, we are headed to a NYE lunch at Geezers in Santa Fe Springs (ummmm, Turkey Chili) and then the hubby and I will try to figure out the surround sound, enjoy our old dog Sam, have some munchie food later as my hubby has some annual pricing to do for a customer and well you guessed it - I'll be farming on FB.

Oh yes you will cave my friend.  We managed to get you into the LB Marathon without much push.  You can do it Javi, yes you can.

Oh come on walk a 1/2 marathon with me =)  I'm not doing it until October!!

Ohhhh we love Geezers....I love the Brunch...well we use to go there alot before surgery and now on special occasions....yummy!  Enjoy!

so like some of you out there, I'm at work.  The chief is here, and he's being F#*&$^g nosy!!  I'm hoping to get out of here the first chance I get, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.  Tonight, I'll be at a buddy's house with a few close friends, having some beverages, and just "shooting the s#!t"  around a fire pit.  2009 is leaving me with a phenominal discovery, that will make bringing in 2010 that much better.
