Get that exercise in!
As for the stationary bike, it is one that you kind of sit in it and I feel like a CHOLA all leaned back and all. The treadmill, although it is not very well used, because it is in the garage, there is so much dust, animal hair etc. in the motor. I think it may need a tune up. My husband uses it every other day but it does take a little time to get it moving.
I do promise to report to you tomorrow that I did get on the treadmill tonight while my chicken is roasting in the nice toasty oven and I am freezing my ass off in the garage. If it takes a few minutes to get it going, well, it takes a few minutes.
Now, we need to come up with a nickname for Gus as he is going to continue to bug us daily about this exercise. I am thinking "PITA". If you figure out what this stands for and you agree, let's give him the nickname.

I have really made exercise as one of my hobbies. Don't worry, exercising can be fun. I really used to think...how can I find something that I could enjoy? It took time and not I enjoy it everyday. Good luck and explore different exercises because not all are meant for one. Some exercises hurt and some don't...ha ha
I mentioned to my DH just yesterday about maybe buying a WII so we can get the WII Fit programs.
My son is a Kinesiology major and can put an actual exercise routine together for me but between school, PT job, internship, and his training for the LA Marathon he has no time for me.
So, have you figured out what PITA means yet? You will, I just know you will - LOL
As much as I dread exercise, I finally got off my hiney last night & went for a run! I was so excited to realize that I can run a much longer distance than I ever remember! WOW! I keep reading all the posts about this challenge of the marathon and I want in on it!! It felt so good to have my ipod on to my favorite tunes and to just be me & run! It's amazing how much thinking & self discovery can be done! So, tonight..I'm going for another one. But I think..I want to change the time to mornings! I like to go out at night, so I really want to do the runs in the morning before getting ready for work! Who knows...but I am glad I got off my hiney and got out there!!

what's up Gus!
nothing to report today, just a few flights of stairs; I usually save my workout for when I get home from work. So for now, I'll let you know what I did yesterday.
I did an hour on the bike, for a little over 19 miles, and a 1/2hr with the dumbells. I'll probably hit the streets tonight for a little jog, since I'll be home a little earlier tonight. Until then.....
