Good Thursday Morning Cali!

I kind of know what you mean.  Where we live is so remote that I'm missing connecting with folks about this surgery.  The trials and tribulations, eating, exercise..I think eveyrthing would be so much easier to go through with folks I could sit down and talk to.  It's difficult for me to say..hey, I'm not doing well.  I'm always the UP one so my friends don't know what to do with me when I'm not.  It WILL pass. :-)

Good Morning California

I’ve been having a tough time.  I feel queasy all the time, no matter what I eat.  I have little energy.  I pulled my knee out walking the river run, too much at once, I think.  I’ve been giving it a rest.  Monday we alked to the beach and yesterday too.  My usual exercises haven’t been happening.  The weight is creeping up (less than a pound, but still).  I’m going to walk slowly today and get my steps in.  Back to basics.  I think my CPAP needs to be turned down again.  The last 2 days I woke up several times with a very dry mouth and my tongue stuck to my mouth.  Not the best of weeks, but this too shall pass.

I did my first set of 10 minutes an hour walking.  I WILL make my 10k steps today!

Good Morning Everyone,

Janine- thank you for the shout out.  Two people that had recently seen me said that I have lost more weight.  My apartment manager said that she is hearing wedding bells.  Good she hears something that I don't hear. LOL

I went for a 5.5 mile bike ride last night.  Got a late start.  Went to bed late, and was too tired to get up and run this morning.  Oh well, I will run tonight and go to the gym.
I had shown a before picture of me at a cousin's house this past weekend, and his response was, "Damn! You was big as hell."  I was hoping for, "Babe, you really turned your life around" or "You are half the woman you used to be." , but not the comment that he had given me.

Nothing else going on with me.  Everyone have a great day.

I must admit... I only made it two days this week as my energy reserve is zilch and I'm wiped out! I called in sick today and will sleep some.

Ah, Janine!!! I am so sorry, some butthead turned off your kiln AGAIN!!! I would be hunting this time I think. I hope you can resolve this problem and very soon.

Well, today I am going to run down to see Nicole at the hospital. Wished I could have gone yesterday, but it wasn't meant to be.

Hey Janine!  Yup, we went to the SD one on the 30th and hung out for the day, it was groovy!  We plan on going to the one in the OC on 9/13 and have a cabana if anyone wants to come and play along with us, we have a good time, huh?  Did you say the one in PS stays open until the end of Oct?  We really liked that one alot, and want to come back to it before it closes for the season...

Good afternoon Neen and Cali crew!!! I'm so excited about getting to meet you Neen and many others I've been wanting to meet, because I am coming to the coffee Saturday!!!
Thanks for the shout out this morning! I am doing good, had a great heart to heart with hubby yesterday and things are back on track there, at least for now!
Just talked to Starbucks and they are still finishing first interviews and I should be told by Monday if I get second interview! Fingers and everything crossed!!!
