I VOTED

Dusty and I both voted.  Dusty turned 18 in May so this was his first vote.  He actually read the propaganda and figured out what was what.  I am proud of him, although I would have rather told him how to vote since, other than Obama for Prez, we didn't agree on a lot of stuff.  Believe it or not, he is way more conservative than I am.  That just seems weird to me.

25 extra credit points in my law class because I voted.  I was #99 to turn my ballot in at that location and Dusty was #100.  That is a really high amount considering we voted at 7:50 this morning and our town only has about 4500 people in it.

VOTE, VOTE, VOTE, Please........Let's do our part to change this world into a better place.

Done deal!

I voted by mail since I never know what my travel schedule is going to be, and didn't want to take the chance I'd be out of town. Plus, I know me and I don't do well waiting in line!

Get out and vote peeps. And if you're undecided, let me know - I'd be more than happy to help you out.

Lindsey and I went and voted too. She turned 18 in September and it was also her first time.  We discussed all the issues and she made up her own mind.  I did not inflluence her one way or another.  I was actually excited to see my child walk up to booth and cast her vote.  I am not a political person but it is another step in her life that she has taken at becoming somewhat independent. We were the 5th and sixth to vote at our polling place

Sam and I are taking Sammi with us and going after work. Sam started at 5 this morning and I started at 7 so it's afternoon voting for us. Sammi gets to go twice as her grandparents are taking her with them to vote too. LOL. Believe it or not, today is the first time Sam or I have ever voted  It ought to be an interesting election to say the least.

I voted weeks ago, now poor Doug has got to go and stand in line tonight.  My dad said it took him over an hour to get in to vote.  I am so glad to hear there is a heavy turnout everywhere.

Great to see you this past weekend Kevin.....did you need anything to say you voted for your free starbucks?

Hugs, Diane
