Happy Monday Janine and Cali,

Janine I don't know how you do it with no sleep.  I get cranky when I don't get my sleep and I tell you these day's I sleep like a baby.  I have been falling asleep before lil man.

My run this weekend was tough and sometimes I wonder if I can really do this.  I know I can, but my self doubts get in the way a lot of times.  The majority of our run seemed to be up a BIG hill and my legs just wanted to give up.  The last mile was the hardest and I couldn't even run anymore.  But, next week I will be out there for our 10 mile run. 

I had a great weekend and it was great to meet other OH's in the Valley.  Everyone is so lovely and kind. 

Janine, unfortunately I will not be at Tom's Farm.  I am really bummed but it is just not possible. I have a 10 mile run than would have to go home, shower and get lil man and by the time we get to Tom's Farm everyone will be leaving.  Just didn't work out for us this time.  Hopefully, next time as I would have really loved to go.

Good Morning Janine and California!

Awesome shout out, Janine!  How wonderful you get an extra day off!  I just want you to know...I won't be hiking at 2am! LOL

Today we take DH to a new doctor, his moved to Hawaii.  With his medical issues shopping for one isn't easy.  They asked what kind of appointment and I said/ a meet and greet.  I want to know how well we work together.  We'll see how it goes.  If that doesn't work, I have one I like in Fort Bragg so we'll drive the 2 hours and take him there.  It just would be nice to have someone here in town.

I went for my walk with Pat yesterday..we walked for 2 hours!  I got in 15,000 steps. LOL  I couldn't believe it.  After all the down on the floor CPR stuff the day before and the walking, my knees were sore last night.  I was aslep my 10:30 too.

I'm taking this afternoon off to pay bills.  I'm loving being able to eat solids again. :-))

Hi Cali,

I am doing okay.  I had a chill weekend.  Just finishing up a sweater for my niece.  I decided that I would not take the time or $$ to pay to re-write the pattern to include a hood.  Today I am weaving in the ends and tonight I will sew up the sleeves.  After that, all I will need to do is buy buttons and put those on.  I will post a picture when I am finished.
Last night, I swatched for my sil's sweater.  I should be done in 1 1/2 weeks.
I also went to a taping of Chocolate News starring David Allen Grier.  Oh, so funny.

Janine-thank you for the shout out.  I think you had given "War and Peace" a run for its money with your post.

Thanks for the shout out.  I have been thinking on posting on the mornings but my life is so boring, not much to talk about.  The lunch was wonderful and I just hugged everyone! 
Last week was reflective for me cause my second cousin passed away.  He lived in Wisconsin and I had the honor of meeting him for his 100th birthday.  He had just turned 102 in Sept.  He and I shared a love of genealogy and it was wonderful to talk to someone who knew or had ment my ancestors.  He had given me a barn board from the family farm, in MN,  with the family name carved on it.  Services were today, so I am still thinking about him.
