Its Whacky Weigh In Morning here
Got a chuckle last night. Hubby wanted to go to the Chineese buffet. Well we all know it's a total waste of $$$$ for us to go to a buffet, but we went anyway. He asked the people up front if they had a special discount for gastric bypass patients. They did! All I had to do was show them my medical ID bracelet and they charged the same price as a 5 year old! ($5.00) Ha! It was yummy!
Off and running. I'm being 2 people today here at work (good thing I'm a Gemini!)
I am down 2 pounds this week.
Have a beautiful day!

I love my RNY! Find me on myspace myspace.com/bebe_girl209 but be sure to tell me your from OH!
I'm sad to say I am up 2 pounds, but that is ok. On the up side, for the first time ever, I FIT INTO A PAIR OF JEANS!!!! Because of my hernias, I gave up on fitting into a pair of zip and button pants, but in trying on a Halloween costume, I discovered size 20 in jeans fits me!!!!! HUGE WOW for me!!
I hate the number, but that is ok. Saturday I will be wearing a size 18 jeans and am VERY excited about that!!!!
have a great day gang! It is my Friday and it will probably be a very emotional "weekend" for me, but Saturday lies ahead, woo hoo!!!!!! bigg hugggs, Becky
Surgery was RNY 5/21/07...I can be found on Facebook: anewbecboo or Becky Reddick
Kim,
The short answer to your question is yes I will still be running the LA Marathon.
Here is my long answer. I am not happy about the date change whatsoever and really thought about dropping out of the program. It's not the running or the training it is the time committment that ****** me off. I don't know if I would have started the training if I knew it was going to be 8 months every Saturday. I have a little man at home that I have to make arrangements for on Saturdays and it is also my only weekend day with him because he goes with his dad on Sundays. So, I am just not very happy about the change right now.
Are you going to do the LA marathon?
