Newbie saying Hi!

Hi all! I have been lurking for a while now and have finally met with my surgeon and been accepted to the program. I have attended my nutritional meeting and will be attending a support group meeting this Monday. I don't have a surgery date yet because I have to go through LOTS of other stuff first (as you all probably know all too well) but i wanted to come out of lurkdom and say Hi.... HI!

I don't know where you are in So Cal, but THIS weekend, on Sat, manyn ALOT of us are going to Tom's Farms off the 15 in Corona.  It is a great event, you will meet so many people you won't be able to keep us all straight.  If you can make it, please see the post on Tom's Farm Update, that Steve J has posted a few down from you.

If you need any more info, you always come here and scream and yell, one of us will get back to you on whatever your needs are.  This is the greatest board for support.  They have always been there for whatever my needs have been in the last 2 years.  Well ok almost 2 years.   No one cares that I haven't finished losing all my weight, they still love me no matter. (ok maybe not EVERYONE still loves me)  :-)

I am a bit overwhelmed right now. with all of the paperwork and information that they have given me... the new eating seems to be the scariest for me... but i am SO ready for a new me!
