Hi Everyone
Well my surgery is 11/19/08 @9:30 a.m. I am a little scared and nervous. However I am excited. I have read some good advice and I would like to thank you all for it.

Welcome to the Cali board.  We're here to support you and let you know you're not alone.  You will be an experienced loser when I have my surgery in Jan.  I know what you mean about scared and nervous, but we're making great decisions for health and better living.  You will be in good hands and my thoughts and prayers will be with you.

Hi Angel...  I know exactly how you feel.  I had surgery on Nov. 5th and had so many thoughts both good and bad.  When I arrived at the hospital I was so calm, and had no fear whatsoever!  I knew I was making the right decision.  And here I am... 10 days post op, doing great!  And you will too... hang in there... you will do just fine! Hi Angel.

Wishing you the best with your surgery.  I will be having mine in the next month or so...should have a date by the end of the week.

I have not been on this site a whole lot, but I anticipate I will be as I get closer to surgery.  The info and support here has been invaluable.

Almost here!!! I am next month.. Nervous too but we can do it!!! Just think how great we are both going to look by summer!!!!! Let me know how it goes! :)
