OMG ITS TGIF!!!!!

Happy Friday to all of you out in OHland....can't believe the best "F" just came out of my mouth....it's Friday...it's Friday!!!     

Anywho...I have not really had the time to read the boards this morning because...gosh get this....I slept the night!!! Yippie!!!!

So instead of me blabbin....you all blab and let us all live vicariously through each other as to what we are doing this weekend.

I know what I am doing...working on the computer and celebrating my youngest son's birthday on Sunday...he will be 29. YIKES!!!

Good morning Janine and all my cali buds

Well today is low key until my big evening......I am going to meet old co-workers for dinner and get this - none of them (except one who moved to Vegas and is now back) even know I had WLS or know that I have lost close to 160 lbs.  So it should be a pretty interesting evening to say the least.....

So yesterday I babysat my little darling until about 1:00 then went to my appt with the Dermatologist about the weird spot on the side of my nose.  Yep - it is a pre-cancerous lesion - not the best news - but the Dr said that I caught it super early which is good.....so he froze it (and of course with the big dinner tonight now I have this ugly mark on me - but oh well....anyway I now have been told I should see a Dermatologist every 6 months - one more thing to worry about.....my dad went through lots and lots of skin cancer issues so I will be sure to follow the drs orders and make my visits and keep out of the sun.....hmmmmm bummer, but at least it was caught in the early stage.

Tomorrow is LB COFFEE, then on Sunday my friend from TOrrance is coming here to spend the night so we can get ready for out trip....we leave Monday morning for the week - spending Thanksgiving week in Catalina (like we did last year).  So since I don't have a lap top I will be incommunicado all next week....

So I guess thats about it for me - oh - the almost 1 lb that I was up on Wed is not gone plus another 1.5 lbs - wow - but I have been super good this week and stayed away from the carb monster....just once again I prove to myself how bad those nasty carbs are.....I just focused on protein and water and low and behold the scale is moving....yahoo.  I am hoping to drop a few lbs next week since all we do when we are in Catalina is walk walk walk.....

Ok time to go read the paper and have a cup of coffee - I think I have blabbed on long enough....

Glad you went to the docs and got your spot knocked off! You will be beauitful anyways gf....and you are going to knock their socks off when they see you! OMG I wish I could be there to hear all the comments and see their jaws just drop! You were always beautiful Jean, but OMG now...you just glow!

You're just doing so friggin awesome with your tool...you keep up all the hard work and I am so jealous you are going to Catalina for the holiday break...can I stow away with you? hehehehehe

Sorry it was precancerous honey, but THANK GOD you got it early!!! And your beauty of the new you will WAY outshine the spot on your nose as you see all your old co-workers tonight! HOW EXCITING, I wish I could be a fly on the wall!!! Have a BLAST and embrace all the love and compliments you are going to get and SOOOOO deserve!!!!!

Morning all!  Up earlier than usual, we're taking Tim in this morning for a tune up..lol  He has a pacemaker and they need to change the battery on it. We both feel very confident that all will be well, but if you'd keep him in prayer this morning, I'd love it! 

 for all the sweet comments about my Wow moment yesterday, it's why we come here, to support each other, to keep the positive energy going and keep us on the right track to being healthy!

Okay now I read that line "take Tim for a tune-up" like 5 times thinking...do they call their car Tim? Then I read on and realized what you were saying...was I having a blond moment or what...I felt like Luana! LOL (just joking lulu). Glad the week is about done and TGIF for sure. D and I now have plans for a project this weekend. And here I thought it would be a do nothing much weekend! LOL So, here's the deal, we have a dear friend who wants to give Darrell a baby grand piano and we finally put together enough bucks to have it moved. That's D's Christmas present this year. Last night we decided (well, D decided) we needed to make ready for the piano this weekend. So in the morning we will start tearing apart the office (soon to be office/music room) cleaning and prepping, then painting and rearranging to make a nice place for Darrell's first piano since he moved to Cali 15 years ago. He is VERY excited about this and I am thrilled for him. So, like I said, my relaxing weekend has become a busy weekend after all.

OMG, what a great gift, a Baby Grand, I would so love to have one, I have a Spinet, it was mine when I was 5, I took many years of lessons on it, but it needs to be refinished.......

Would love to hear his grand, tell him to record some music for me....:)
