All right I know it been a long time since we had a roll call!! Where all the old heads from way back?? I know since we had WLS and the scale stops moving or starts going up!! We stop post!!

Come step up and tell us how your doing?

Being more than 2 years out is alot different than before. I put on 10-15lbs from being lazy, eatting the wrong things and too many I step up my workouts get it off quick but the weight dose not come off as easy. So I'm back in "training mode" not for a race but to stay healty and not lose the gains I made the past 2 years!!! So my the struggle continues with finding a balance between being healthy and still having some fun. But I know I being healthy will win because I'm never going back to where I was..

Take Care!!

WLS is not a magic bullet, it is a daily choice of good decisions for life long health! What do you choose to do today?

Hey Kevin, it is nice to see you post , even if it is to kick some butt. Even those of us that are new at this need to be reminded that it is a  life time commitment. So, thanks, for reminding us to get off our butts.

HUGS

Hey Joy,

But one of the best advice I got about WLS is you only have a 18 month window to lose as much weight as possible after that it become much harder to keep losing and maintaining. So work your tool and get your body moving!!

Oh your going to have to tell me more about how you got your name!!

Take Care!!

Hi Kevin,
You know this is my not so secret fear. I'm sure others agree that it's theirs too. I'm so happy you've shared. I wish you the very best of success.

I'm two years out from lap rny. I had plastics in July. I actually went in for plastics underweight and had to gain afterwards. Weird I know. I'm where I'd like to be now give or take a pound or two for wiggle room at any given time. I workout 2-3 times per week at the gym and walk or bike additional days. I sort of think of exercise like brushing teeth or taking a shower. I just do it. Most of the time I actually like it!

I still maintain a high protein low carb approach and drink seldom. When my weight is down I carb up. When my weight is up, I carb down or do protein shakes and non-fat lattes for a couple of days. I also work out a little extra. I figure if I weigh everyday I can keep a lid on things. Wish me luck.

Hi Trophy Wife,

Yea it a fear I have and will live with forever. But I use that fear to keep me moving. Its fear that wakes me up at 5am to workout before work, sometime at lunch or after work.

Good Luck!! But I know you don't need luck!! You doing great!!

2 years.....113 pounds lost....plastic surgery...and then 17 lbs. gained.  :-(

I've realized recently how easy it is to slip back into old habits.  How that ONE soda turns into one or more a day.  How the head hunger seems to come back.  How the laziness with the exercise can creep back up on me.  How I still eat when I'm HAPPY!  How quickly one pound turns to 10, and how quickly 10 can turn to almost 20.

I've come to realization and I refuse to go back to the way I was.  It's not as easy the second time around, but I am finding out that it IS possible.  Cut back on the carbs...increase the workouts....get back to the NEW me!
