L.A. Marathon?? Who's doing it besides me??

Hi all!  This is the last Marathon for me this year!  I am pooped!  Anyways, I just wanted to know who was doing the L.A. Marathon on Dec 7th?  I will be down that way on Friday Dec 5th.  I hope to see you all before hand for a lil ummm...partying Plus, its Teresa's Birthday and I can kill two birds with one stone.  Wow!  That sounded like animal cruelty.  Not cool!  Anyway, I have two reasons to come down to SoCal now!

I'm contemplating getting back into shape for San Diego Rock N' Roll but with the date change I prolly won't run the LA for a LOOOOONG time!

OK Catt, I am soooooooooooo confused.  Is this the City of Angels half marathon or the 5k.  I thought that the LA marathon was going to be UGH at the end of May. It sure is going to suck having the Full LA marathon when It will be so hot. 
Wat ever you are running on Dec 7th, I think it will be the City of Angels thingie wether you do the half or 5 k I wish you so much luck. The following week I will be doing my first Triathalon.

Hey Liz, I am doing the City of  Angels Marathon (just the 5k).  I'm training for a triathlon sometime next year.  Im proud of you Liz.  You go girl!!!

Hey Liz,

You are correct, it is not a marathon.  It is the City of Angels Half Marathon.  The LA Marathon has indeed moved to Memorial Day in May.  I ran the City of Angels Half last year and it was a really enjoyable run.

good morning.  Doesn't it run through parts of our beloved Griffith Park?  One weekend morning on a Saturday of course Chuck, and I will be coming out to the park and we will go for a quick bike ride.  We will make sure to come by and see you too.  I honestly do miss coming down there too.
Hope, you and the family have a great Thanksgiving.  I know that this year as always I have so much to be thankful for. especially my health and the ability to continue to live.  I can tell you had I not had this surgery I would surely be close to if not over 400lbs by now.  That truly is a hard pill to swallow but so true.

Yes, it definitely runs through part of GP!  I miss seeing you at the park, I love your smile and you are always so positive.  I hope that you do stop by one day!  We definitely all have lots to be thankful about!  Have a fantastic Thanksgiving and send my love to the family.
