8 years post op and counting....Down 240 for good!

Interested in finding out if anyone is having trouble with Raynauds or Mixed Connective Tissue/Lupus.....etc???  My surgery was in June of 2000 and recently diagnosed with both disorders.

Also, I have recently relocated to California from Indiana and would love to find some Bari-Buddies....  :)

Hello there Kimberly and welcome to Cali!!  I think your profile said you were in Lakewood.  A group of us get together "usually" on the last Saturday of the month at a Starbucks in Long Beach.  Because of the holidays we've moved it up to the week before.  So be on the look out as we'll be getting together next on Saturday December 20th!!

Wow!  8 years!  You giddyup there girlfriend.  and 240lbs?  Holy guacamole!  Yeah for you and your success..  Sorry to hear you are having some struggles, healthwise.  I have a couple friends (non WLS friends) who have Lupus and it is no fun - but from what I can see of their lives it IS manageable!  

Welcome to Cali!  I am sure you will love it here.  I am in the San Diego area so I am about 2 hours south of where you are.. but maybe one day you will be down here or I will be up there and we can have coffee.. :-)
