Just turned over to the news, when I saw your post.  I hope all are okay.  I am so glad the pilot is also okay.  I was fearing the worse on this one.

Holy Crap, you know I have the news on just for sound and I missed it on TV. I, too, hope that everyone is ok down there.  I remember when the PSA jet crashed on landing into the neighborhood down there, I am dating myself, not many would remember PSA.  I am hoping for the best

My husband saw that crash as it happened. That was before we met, but I have heard about it MANY times! Wow, DH just said it was 30 yrs ago in September. I remember it happening but I was 18 at the time.

Diane, one of the sups at my work worked in that North Park neighborhood, she said it was beyond horrific.  I have fond memories of PSA, great little airline.

I remember that crash as well. My uncle actually was a responder to that crash. I lived in San Diego until I was 11.

Thanks for thinking of us...this is just about 2 miles south of where I work....they've confirmed two fatalities....so tragic.  Thanks again...

I am really sorry to hear that 2 people died, but I am sure that pilot did whatever he could not to crash where he did.  I did hear on the news later that the neighborhood was built after the air base was there, I am not sure I would want to buy in an area or even live in the flight path, but then heck, the freeway is in the flightpath of the airport.

May the good Lord rest the souls of those lost today.

Love, Diane
