Now if you are going to win any battle you have to do one thing. You have to make the mind run the body. Never let the body tell the mind what to do. The body will always give up. It is always tired in the morning, noon, and night. But the body is never tired if the mind is not tired."

No Doubt: Oi to the World...It is quite manic and suits my mood today. I need to get to the gym.

I also grew up with Andy Williams and Barbara Striesand. They always put me in the Christmas mood.

I get sentimental when I listen to Nat King Cole....my family had him on 8-TRACK!!! (Am I giving my age away?)

No Doubt, huh??  I'll have to look that one up!!

I LOVE Christmas music.  But my favorite Christmas song is "The First Noel".  It  has a very special meaning to me.  As many of you know, I had a daughter that passed away a few days before Christmas (on 12/22/99).  Her name is Mia Noelle.  On Christmas eve, I was going from cemetary to cemetary trying to find the place I wanted to bury her.   The last cemetary I went to has a historic church on the property.  I was standing on the grass looking at plots when the church bells started ringing and playing "The First Noel".  I felt overwhelming peace come over me.   Being that her middle name is "Noelle", I feel that this song playing was a sign from my little girl.  This song will always mean a lot to me.  It seems like everytime I go to the cemetary to decorate her grave for her birthday and Christmas, this song plays while I am there.  :-)

Hijack,

Oh Kristen, I did not know that..  I will forever think of you and your little girl everytime I hear that song..  How very special to be able to hear that song everytime you go there.

Hugs,
Jenn
