Hey Everyone!!!

Well I was a very busy baker this weekend!  I'm making goodie baskets for my cousins for Christmas!  The house smelled soo nice.. and Chad was lucky enough to be my guinne pig and taste everything!

I stilll have soo much to do, presents to wrap and 15 goodie baskets to assemble.. so I am not cooking tonite!  I do have to stop at Trader Joe's after work so I will be picking up something quick and easy from there!!!!!

How bout everyone else???

OH wow, how sweet of you to ask...lol  I kinda make it up, but its pretty much the recipe on the back of the bag...

1 #of ham, or I use a whole turkey kielbasa, sliced in pretty decent sized chunks; 1 med/large onion, chopped; 15 oz can of stewed or diced tomatoes, 1-2 tsp of chopped garlic, 1 tsp chili powder, 1 small bag of already peeled baby carrots, 2 celery stalks chopped, 2 packages of chicken stock, I think it comes in quarts?  I just basically toss everything in the crock pot and let it rip...lol  I rinse the beans and you can precook them so they cook quicker if you don't want to do the crockpot.  I tossed a small potatoe in there as well.  I put about a Tbl of kosher salt, and about 15-20 turns of the pepper mill for pepper. I even put a few turns of balsamic vinegar in there as well, as I LOVE balsamic vinegar and it makes people say, wow, what's that? (in a good way! LOL) I hope you enjoy it!  xo  Kim
