Back from the hospital

This upper GI test took about 3 hours.  They had me drink a shot of something that made my pouch blow up then I drank this white liquid that tasted nasty   At that point, the nurse and radiologist had me stand in front of this huge machine and watched the liquid go down to my pouch and into my small intestines.....The huge table automatically rotated me in different directions while the "radio" doc was taking hundreds of pictures to see everything flow.

They later had me wait for a while to get the liquid to my larger intestines and more pics were taken......Wanna know the results?   See below!!!!

At this point, I do think it's a kink that comes and goes but they are unable to catch it in time.  Now I'm suppose to make an appt with my PCP to discuss this test and move on to plan B (perhaps swallow a camera like pill to take more pics of my insides)......GRRRRRRRR

Doc Zorn mentioned that it could be a very small hernia causing this "kink" crap but once again, it's gotta be caught in action!

Oh Gus, I am so very sorry to hear that.. I am sure you must be so frustrated.. I know I would be..  Keep pushing this till you are better, they may not think that it is anything, but you are the one who knows your body the best, don't let them discourage you..

Keep your chin up and let us know what that PCP of yours says..

Hey Jenn,

Hope you're feelin' better.  I got on some antibiotics this morning.  The surgeon wants me to keep my appt Fri so, cross fingers that all will go forward as planned.

I am crossing finger, toes and eyes that you're feeling better too.
