I need a swift kick in the Butt
First I'm going to tell you what I do. Every Sunday I get ready for my work week and that includes getting ALL my vitamins and putting them in a bottle that stays on my desk at work.
I set my alarm on my cell phone to ring EVERY 3 hours from 6am to 3pm. That's 6am, 9am, 12pm, 3pm and each time it goes off I'm taking pills. I have even started doing this on the weekend cause I would forget so that's me.
Monica please I beg of you to find vitamins that you like and I do believe that Bariatric Advantage first off you get a Kaiser discount of 15% and free shipping AND you can order them to come every month. A few people in the support group I went to like them and talked about the iron even not constipating them.
If you can't remember to do this for YOU then think about JORDYN. You brought her here into this world to love and cherish and nuture and in turn she loves and cherishes you...don't give her a sick mother over something you CAN CONTROL!!

No flaming here either, just love and support. My mom had many health problems later in life including 3 types of cancer and on top of that has short term memory loss. She was living about an hour and a half away from me and my step father had passed away so she was on her own. Each weekend, I would drive up to visit her, take her shopping and make sure she was set up for the following week. She had tons of medications! I bought a "mediset" the type with little boxes that say morning, noon, night, bedtime. I put this set by her coffee pot, because the one thing she never seemed to forget is that she loved her coffee. Each time she would go by, the mediset would remind her and it helped greatly. Now. when I had to start taking diabetic meds, I set up the same type of mediset and put it by my toothbrush. Since I brush twice a day, I remember to do my meds and vitamins.
Just a thought. My Dr allows us to take Tums as our calcium as long as we are taking a multi vitamin and I am doing Centrum Chewables. Although I am in the "infancy stage" in all of this, so far nothing is bothering me.
I will hold good thoughts for you my friend and know we are here for care and support!
Always,
Barb
As everyone else has said, you need to take your vitamins and I can understand the irritable tummy thing. There are liquid vitamins on the market.........Have you trid those? Just a thought.
My wife has ADD and I know the routine business that is needed. I have to write little notes here and there to remind her to take her meds and such. Dont be so hard on yourself, as everyone else tells me.........You can do this
