May I ask what HOOD is?? I am thinking it is your Protein Drink, but not sure. If that is the case, how does it taste? I CANNOT find anything that I can get my gag-reflex to swallow. I am being honest. I have terrible gag-reflex and when I get it into my mouth, I CANNOT swallow! Do you know of any company that offers samples? I hate buying a container only to find out that I cannot tolerate it.
Any help is appreciated.

Hi Sweeny,

Hood is a brand of dairy products.   The Hood brand is found all over the place on the East Coast, and I think other areas of the country.  But, it's hard to find here in California.

Hood makes a "milk" (not sure they call it milk, but it's similar) called, Hood Calorie Countdown.  It's a lower fat/carb/calorie milk, that tastes richer than regular non-fat milk.  It's found in the dairy section, with the milk.

I use it in my protein shakes.  My favorite is the Hood Chocolate Calorie Countdown milk, scoop of Designer Whey Protein Powder, 1/2 banana and about 5 ice cubes.  Put it all in the blender and it tastes like (well, almost like) a chocolate-banana shake.  I also sometimes substitute Toroni syrups for the banana and make a chocolate caramel shake, or chocolate raspberry is good, too.  They also sell regular vanilla milk - I use frozen berries with that.

So - that's "Hood"...

I'm with ya - I, personally, think the Superbowl should be one-week after the playoffs and not two.  It drags and gets old.

I'll be watching the Superbowl from Boise, Idaho.   A long weekend visiting David's family.

I don't really care who wins... though I must admit, I wouldn't mind seeing the Cardinals win, as I like Kurt Warner from his Ram days.  That being said - it's all good.

Good luck...

Well, I for sure haven't been very good, but I'm going to post anyway...

LND: Some cheddar and Brie, and crackers and fruit....and wine!

B: Sausage maple scone from Starbucks (YUM!), coffee

S: Non fat chai (about 1/2 of a small), and 1/2 piece of coffee cake

L: Top Ramen....my bad....but yummy!

D: Turkey, pesto, and cranberry sandwich from BUX again.

S: I guess that would be my iced coffee and my skinny vanilla latte

Now I'm home and I just ate another sausage maple scone, and am having TWO glasses of wine!

V: most of them
W: uh oh
E: huh?
