Good Morning Cali Crew,

I did not weigh myself today.  I have to map out running schedule for next week.  The thought of getting out of my bed on a cold morning just doesn't appeal to me.

Oh well, I will go to the lys tonight after work to get help on a sweater that I am making.

Talk to you later.

Kim

Good morning Janine and Cali Friends,

Hope all is well in your worlds today.
Today is my last day before I go back to work  waaaaa. I did manage to get my resume ready and there is a job in another school district close by that has a similar job to mine so I think I will apply for that one.  Hold a good thought please.

Yesterday I met the magnificant Maureen from Redding and how much fun she is.  She says she will be down here again, so I hope we can rally again, she is so nice and wow she looks wonderful, quite an inspiration.  We did talk about needing a Disney fix, so that would be WAY too cool.  My husband isn't so much into Disneyland like I am, so it would be much more fun to go with folks who enjoy.

Speaking of inspirations, Lola, my angel you rock!  Congratulations, you're doing so well, way to go.

So, this week I lost 2.5 lbs.  Yee haw, it's so exciting to watch those numbers get smaller instead of bigger.

I wish everyone a great day.

Hugs,

Barb

We're going to have to take my son!  He has a Disney Silver card and can get himself and 3 other guests into Disneyland for free!!!!!!!  Hell, I'll pay for his road trip!  (Or, air fair if it's cheaper to do it that way).  Fly into Long Beach on Jet Blue and motor on up!

Good Morning Janine and Cali Crew

Hope everyone is having a wonderful week.

I'm pleased to report that I'm down 5 pounds from last week.  Got back to basics, lots of protein, no "white" carbs and upped my exercise.  I almost feel like a newbie again after 3 years!  I've also rediscovered that when I eat correctly, my little pouch really works well.

Anyway, hope everyone is doing well.  Congrats to everyone this week, keep up the good work.

Good Morning Janine & Cali,

I am so glad you are back. Wow! What a trip you had..Sean is such a hottie! Well, the scale was good to me this week as I am down 1.8lbs. I need to step up the exercise, but I know I am just being lazy. I think I just got into a comfort zone of, I don't have to exercise because the weight is just going to fall off. Well, that is not true. This last 25lbs I need to lose are going to require some serious work. YES!! Thats what I said, I need to work at losing the rest of this weight. Somebody kick me in "Arse" so I can get off the damn couch and quit making excuses about exercising.

I'm down 1.5 pounds, which of course is good.  I'm still up a net total of 1.5 pounds from gaining 3 pounds over the previous two weeks.

I'm beginning to questions how I'm doing things and I hope someone can give me a little input.  I track my food on mydailyplate.com  It's a great tool.  Here's my problem though.  Lucy, my pouch, only allows me so much food at a time........which is how it's supposed to work.  The daily plate tells me I should be eating about 1,100 calories per day and by 7 pm at night I'm lucky to have taken in half that.  So I spend the evening grazing getting up to the amount of calories.  I always get more than enough protein in and I'm exercising but the scale is not making me happy these days.

Should I just forget about attempting to get in my daily calories and jus****ch the protein and do the Breakfast-Snack-Lunch-Snack-Dinner-Snack thing?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi guys!  I'm back and happy to report I'm down 3#s this week.  I saw that someone said the trick for them was to up the protein intake and I'm here to happily attest to that!  Anyhow, I've missed everyone.  My laptop won't allow me to log in to OH, I can log in to everything else, banks, etc, but my log on won't work for OH, crazy.  So, I have to post from Tim's laptop...bah!  Kim
