WOW Moment!!!!!!!
JoY...
I am soooooo looking forward to doing the same...getting up with something in BOTH hands will be a dream come true...
You must have felt wonderful...do you do stairs without a railing yet?? When I am able to do that,..the first place I will head is back to Washington DC to go up the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. When I was there 5 years ago, I stood at the bottom and cried, too ashamed to go to the disabled entrance...Long live freedom in more ways than one!
Congrats!!!

Kim, when you decide to go let me know I am going to VA next month and I thought about taking a drive up that way before coming home. I have always been very careful on stairs so I us the rail in most cases but that is because I have really bad knees and hips but I can get up them a whole lot faster than I did 6 months ago. I still have to do the one step at a time coming down but I might always have to do that because of the knee and that is how my Ortho said to do it,so as not to cause anymore damage.
Thanks to all for your kind and encouraging words.
